When iris arrived at the small stream, she lowered her head and took a drink from the small source of water. She sat down at the bank of it for a minute or two and then decided to go walk around the territory. She did this mainly to see if any new flowers had begin to grow, although a small part of her went because she was interested in the other packs that she had heard of. Ever since she came here, she heard about at least 3 other packs that roamed the lands near them. Occasionally she would see other wolves wondering on the verge of the forest, but they would quickly leave once they realized she was watching them. Iris had also heard of a common ground, a place for the 4 packs to meet, usually only for the alphas of a pack. Thinking about this, she had unknowingly began to make her way to the edge

Quill was almost fully relaxed when he heard a voice near him."Morning" he replied. It was around midday, which meant that he wasn't going to get any more peace and quiet for the rest of the day. Knowing this, he stood up and stretched a bit. He walked to the stream, which seemed to be the same place Apollo was heading. He didn't bother to walk fast enough to catch up with the wolf, but he was thirsty enough to continue walking the same way.

He rose with a large yawn, abnormal for his small feminine build. He then dove swiftly into the tunnel of water that led to the surface, his webbed paws pushing him, making Leo glide through the water. His strong lungs and small build was perfect for this. He opened his eyes, the water was clear and flourishing with new poggy minnow. Small minnow now with black dots behind their eyes, that would soon become brown as they become the length of a wolf's tail. He snapped at one on the way up to the surface, he chuckled as the whole school fluttered away in the blink of an eye. He finally reached the surface and took a deep breathe. The wonderful fresh air outside was much better than the stale air inside the caves.He hopped up to the ledge just in time to watch the sunrise, he smiled with the sun gleaming on the water. This was how he spent every morning, and Leo loved his routine. But he assumed this would change quickly, as he had no interest with the females in his pack. He found them only wanting his high rank, not his personality.Leo had been planning going somewhere to find a mate for a while, but has not told a soul. And he didn't plan on telling his pack when he left, this was against his loyalty but was necessary to find a mate.

Denali sat on a rock next to the water, it was damp and had moss growing around it. His fur was still wet from swimming and trying to catch fish earlier, he caught one but it smacked him in the face with its tail before he could bring it to land so he dropped it. That put him in quite a sour mood. He yawned and watched the horizon, a gust of wind passed by him, it was thick with the scent of moss and had a slightly misty feel to it.

He saw his alpha and smiled "Good morning Alpha" he dipped his head respectfully and sat next to him. He watched the arrangement of rivers flow together and he wondered how it was like being somewhere, where it didn't flow with water like it did here. He had been raised here all of his life and has never seen somewhere else. Another reason for him to leave. He looked over at his alpha seeing if Denali noticed his guilt. But alpha seemed to distracted by the fish, he was glad though. He was not one to defend his lies, or lie in general. He would probably never be accepted by his pack if he tried to come back after his journey. He accepted that fact and sighed, he was debating when he would leave, maybe in the night, or in the day when everyone is distracted. He wasn't acknowledged that often, even though he has such a high rank. He honestly doesn't understand how he got his rank, he was not one to hog attention.He shook his head trying to get his mind on his mission, his journey the one thing in his life that is eventful. He could start a war between all of the packs if he wasn't careful.But he was fine with that, how ever horrible it sounds. He wasn't one to fight but he wanted a mate. And he was willing to find the perfect one.

Denali nodded at Leo. "Good morning Leo. It seems you're up early." He said, then looked up to the sky in thought. "I do wonder, how do you think the other Pack's are fairing at this time?" He asked, his voice calm and slow. It was early so he didn't talk very much, but this was his Beta. His second in command, the one he trusted most, so he'd be willing to talk to him any time of the day.

Hollow got up, shaking her coat. Looking around she saw great trees that climbed into the sky and clear water. Hollow walked to the left where the shore line was. Once she had made the short trip there and her breathing slowed down she lied down. Noticing a few ripples in the water she slowly moved back onto her legs, creeping forward.

Apollo felt the presence walking behind him. When he had reached the creek he drank from the cool water and lied down, his legs folding under him.

The sun was high when I stepped out of my den. I must've overslept somehow. I thought to myself with a yawn. Usually I'm up just in time to see the sunrise, but not today. I went over to a perch that had naturally formed in the ground to look over my pack, see what everyone was doing.

He smiled at the question but on the inside his stomach churned. He was hoping he wouldn't show any guilt. "Tis a nice morning, and the sunrise is as beautiful as always" then he sighed "If we do not make peace with other packs, i foresee a war. Between all of us, maybe a peace treaty, or a little gift to show we do not want to fight?" He had said what he thought and he had wondered if it was enough to not show his guilt. He shuffled his paws uncomfortably, and sat down taking a deep breathe.
