The sudden use of the word by the pup made his eyes widen a bit, and he pulled away from the pup in order to look over at Cybil
"Mein Gott.." He huffed and looked more than surprised
"I vas not expecting Zat.."

Cynthia and Vincent seemed happy that Kristian said "zat". Mary looked down at her tiny pup as Cybil seemed glued to the TV. "Well... she is a little older than the other two." she said, "I guess she's had more time to listen to us talking?"

"But ve have not used such a vord around her.. Arrest? It's not exactly pleasing.." He huffed while glancing at the tv
"But.. Who got arrested?"

"Hyde did, thankfully." she murmured, "He's the one that kidnapped Alessa and Smokey." Cybil wagged her tail at the action unfolding.

"Ah.. Vell it's good Zat he's caught now.." He said while looking down at the other two pups, then watching Cybil
"Right?"

"It's very good." said Mary softly, "He's very dangerous." Cynthia and Vincent soon grew tired and fell asleep. Cybil whined when Mary moved her so she couldn't see the TV anymore.

"Vell.. Vas zere a reason for us coming to ze cafe?" He asked while tilting his head
"Or did you have a purpose as I joined you?"

"I was wanting to get something to eat." said Mary softly, "And then I saw you and figured maybe you'd like a free meal."

His tone was much lighter now.. he sounded less depressed
"I don't need anysing.."

"You need to eat." she said, "It's the least I could do for you helping with the pups so much." Cybil stuck her tongue out.
