As far as Atwood's hints.... Confessions of a king? Like the Killer's song? Should we be delving deep into the lyrics or nah?

The problem with many of Atwoods references is that they are too broad.... Like literally "Yes, Virginia" is a lengthy news article while the film has hours of dialogue, imagery, symbolism, and historical elements. Not to mention there are multiple movies and a song with that name even! No way anyone will translate it any deeper than "music" or "theme". That would be too much work for a pup we will figure out the second it grows. So don't stress it. Atwood not only overdid her clues but she said they were just pieces to another clue that will be one hint.

After seeing her last post, I give.

Trust me, none of my remaining hints are at all difficult once you find the right reference, all of which are posted or linked to in this thread and have been for days. X3

...Pie makes me think of apples and the only real apple-y one is the one with the worm on his back. So...maybe Bentley's pup is the apple-worm pup?

I've just done an in-depth research of Bernouli and found... absolutely nothing. That cucumber thing is the closest thing to a hint I've seen, so might as well go for it haha.

Updating my hint list, here's where each of my five main hints stand for solving:

1. Grapevine item
2. Confessions of a King
3. Birchii's post
4. Yes, Virginia (no progress so far)
5. Still at the start (no progress so far)

Half of one of the hints has been applied correctly so far but on the wrong pup.

Grapevine could relate to the dog with the vine, or it could relate to grapes and from there to the color of wine or purple. Which might refer to the red pups or the pups with purple eyes.

Is there a link to Birchii's post?

And that song that people think #2 is, it's actually titled Bling and references fire and gold. But when I just search for Confessions of a King I get a band from Kent, England.

Yes, Virginia was written/published on September 21, 1897. Which is nearly 120 years ago this month. Maybe it's a date relation?

I can't even fathom what the last clue means.
