I'm thinking that this pup might belong to raey. Why? Well, in the scavenger hunt earlier, one of the wrong answers lead to a strawberry cake with a strawberry related name. The correct name at the end of the hunt could also be found under the link with the scientific name for wild strawberries. Also, the hint chart shows many other strawberry related hints. This pup has reminded me of a strawberry for a while, so I'm thinking there might be a connection?

As for the items, I'm thinking that the cake speaks for itself. Perhaps the plants because strawberries are plants, and the sun is needed for plants to grow?

Update: This post on the Ask the Staff thread includes two references to strawberries, one possibly in connection to the staff pup.

Another Update: Might be a stretch, but modern garden strawberries are a crossbreed of two plants, one of which is called fragaria chiloensis. Perhaps this is where Chloe came from?

Lets try a different route here.
Same theory as Jack did, if you can find a pup and explain why my hints fit or don't fit, I will confirm or deny that pup.

However, you MUST explain all of my hints, all of my items, and why you think it's mine.

Updating my hint list, here's where each of my five main hints stand for solving:

1. Grapevine item
2. Confessions of a King
3. Birchii's post
4. Yes, Virginia (no progress so far)
5. Still at the start (no progress so far)

Half of one of the hints has been applied correctly so far but on the wrong pup.

Regarding Bel Racat's pup, I don't know what pup this would apply to or anything, so I'm just throwing the idea out there;

Acording to the hints chart, their pups name is Yakone, it also says it's pretty much a couple hints in one and says a lot about them.

Googling the name, the first thing that pops up is a character from The Legend of Korra, who was a bloodbender (the red sash?) and later moved to the Northern water tribe (the snow, coat and polar bear? the polar bear could also be a potential reference to Naga, Korra's dog-polar bear).

Annd that's all I got, not a lot and I don't even know if they watch The Legend of Korra, but that's what my mind connected it to :p

I haven't been keeping up with this thread so someone could have already theorized this for all I know =w=

2. Confessions of a King brought up this song when I did a search for it. Not sure what lyrics apply, but have at thee, solvers! Lyrics

4. Yes, Virgina is a song as well as the beginning title to an editorial Link. Not sure which one the connection is too, though.
