I feel like this:



Is DoctorDraca's.

It's just a hunch I got after looking through their gallery (Mostly after seeing this work of art), so it probably doesnt mean anything, but hey.

Also the hint: "not the same, yet so familiar" may refernce to some of their previous staff pets or possibly a slight style change??

Again, this all just came to me right now, so this may mean nothing haha.

Anyone care to share their thoughts?? I only got this hunch after seeing a few sketchy-like pets in Doctor Draca's gallery

I want to go with the theory that this is Solarizing's, as I've seen quite a few people who recognized her style in this almost right away. Then again I have no idea on styles and what not so you may very well be right too.

I'm not sure, it's a possibility but I don't really see the similarities in terms of art style. Draca's style is usually very clean, so I don't think such a dramatic switch would be something they would do? I'm still thinking Solarizing for the sketchy pup, personally. o:

You're right, I just looked at Solarizing's gallery and the style seems very similar. Guess we will just have to wait and see!

No Atwood said the final form would use floppy ears as a base and not that the dog was floppy eared. She made a post about it a few pages back since we were all hung on the flopy eared bit. So the pup can certainly have straight ears at first as its not the final stage!

OH MY GOSh guys
I think I know who the owl pup belongs to!!!
I knew that I recognized it when I looked at it, something about it was familiar. The coloring, the shading, something was reminding me of something else I'd seen, and recently too. This months pony!!
And the evidence doesn't stop there either!

Sakiyoko designed this months ponies, and they gave us two hints to their staff pup.

- My dog is orange : The owl is obviously quite orange.
- My dog may be a chicken, or perhaps that was another litter I made... : Some people probably wrote this off as a joke, but it's not a CHICKEN but another bird, an OWL!

That actually makes a lot of sense!

I knew there was something about it that reminded me of Saikiyo!
(Hold on, let me back up my facts I think I'm wrong)

Edit:Alright, I was right on the part I wanted to say. Saikiyo also made an owl cat litter, which could be what the 'or perhaps that was another litter I made' part could mean!

To add to this, she also stated earlier, while talking about the chicken quote, that she had a hard time drawing wings so it was likely her staff wouldn't feature them.

So a 50/50 chance at a bird dog?.... *flips a coin*

Ok its probably not a chicken. My coin flip says its just another litter I made....

But wings are hard to draw, I try to avoid them.

This would make a lot of sense with this pet, as, though clearly based off of an aviary critter, it doesn't have any wings at all.

Watching you guys work is really quite fascinating to watch - very interesting, how you all end up in these places... The jolting, halting paths and the huge vaults into the unknown, I'm loving it~~ b
