OH MY GOSh guys
I think I know who the owl pup belongs to!!!
I knew that I recognized it when I looked at it, something about it was familiar. The coloring, the shading, something was reminding me of something else I'd seen, and recently too. This months pony!!
And the evidence doesn't stop there either!

Saikiyo designed this months ponies, and they gave us two hints to their staff pup.

- My dog is orange : The owl is obviously quite orange.
- My dog may be a chicken, or perhaps that was another litter I made... : Some people probably wrote this off as a joke, but it's not a CHICKEN but another bird, an OWL!

Oh my gosh, thank you! I was racking my brain thinking that the owl pup seemed familiar in some sense, but I couldn't figure out how! This is like finally scratching an itch that's been bothering you for ages aha!

The familiar pet looks I was thinking of was the store pets litter they made in 2013, especially with the closed eye ones! Boop!

Thinking on it, would the fox one be Lillians? Only brainstorming something --





Also, one of the hints were 'heavily influenced by japanese folklore'
Isn't a kitsune a japanese folklore fox

Kitsune (狐, キツネ?, IPA: [kitsu͍ne]) is the Japanese word for fox.
Foxes are a common subject of Japanese folklore; in English, kitsune refers to them in this context.

I think it's definitely possible! And that would explain why it's under a blanket still, so that we can't see it's multiple tails? o: That would have given it away instantly, haha~ I've seen a lot of people throw around the idea that it was Lillian's pup but never seen the kitsune angle! c:

Actually, kitsune don't grow extra tails until they're a hundred years old. Or fifty, depending on who you talk to. I do like the idea of kitsune staffies, but I still hope it's a maned wolf.

True, but since this is only based on it (and also it makes for a much better story, I'd say) I don't think that's too relevant. o: Plus in some stories, they grow tails as they age and gain wisdom, it's not always just a sudden growth of extra tails.

Ok so Atwood has said the ears were based on flopped ears and NOT that the ears were flopped from the get go. This in addition to the adults could also turn floppy eared even when the pup does not posess this trait. So all straight eared pups are fair game.

Next, Atwood claimed her pup had grown by now. I too had focused too heavily on the flop eared clue...

This leaves Atwoods current clues and my theory of being a fruit colored Superstar. And with that, I propose that....

Adopt virtual pets at Chicken Smoothie!

This pup is Atwoods!!! She has a fruit treatment going on with green fruit mix to exfoliate the skin. The cucumbers or lemons also fit. The pup sure is taking great care of her face from the start. And she has not blossomed into a superstar yet. Hence the lyrics Still at the start!

Now the spa treatment deserves special attention. Its not cheap to do! Once I got quotes from a place that reached $270 for a basic all day spa treatment. Stars usually want to take care of themselves and treat themselves. A Spa Treatment is typically the way to go since it both nourishes the skin and comes bundled with a massage and pedicure treatment (depending on plan and place). Stars (my emphasis for all of Atwoods movie and music references) want to look their best after all. And a spa is the perfect pampered experience! All the fruit clues merely suggest colors used or (in this case) a star treatment! So my theory is that the pup above is in fact Atwoods!

I shall rest on my theory unless other evidence suggests otherwise.

Guys slow down. We're talking about chickensmoothie here. Pets instantly grow appendages instantly all the time. This whole "over time" tail gain thing is irrelevant past it gaining them when it becomes an adult.

So, I'm not sure if Atwood is still confirming/denying if we can get at least 3 hints, but I'll give this a shot.

I'm gonna guess it's the tiger outcome.

1. Birchii's analyzation was basically confirmed to be the connection between Atwood's staff dogs. In this case, you can see the light colored points on the legs, face, underneck, and belly.
2. If this is this third flop-eared dog Atwood's done and the only two flop-eared dogs have been denied, then the ears must be edited, which fits with the tiger.
3. Yes, Virginia is a movie. In it, the main character has blue eyes, which the tiger outcome does have as well.
4. With the Good Mythical Morning hint, on GMM 787 "How Much Do Kidneys Cost?", Link says "Let the tigers tiger" at 10:50.
5. Someone mentioned the Mentro hint had to do with The Killer's song "Confessions of a King" (the lyrics on Metrolyrics). I'm gonna guess that it has to do with referring to the tiger as king. Lion as king of the jungle is commonly said, but lions don't live in the jungle/forests, they live on the savannah. Tigers live in the forest, so technically tigers are the king of the jungle. Siberian tigers are also the largest cats in the world, not the lion (as some might think).

The grapevine one I'm not 100% sure nor am I sure about the "still at the start" hint. If I were to guess, I'd say that the grapevine item came from Halloween. Maybe this could refer to the black and white color scheme of a typical tiger?

Well I mean, the fox outcome is CLEARLY a Fennec, Kit, or Bat-Eared Fox; The ears are too big to be based on any fox subspecies that are present in Japan. However, it did say 'inspired by' not 'note for note' the same; It could be inspired by the kitsune. Also the art style seems reminiscent of Lillian's previous staff dogs, which is why I agree with the suspicion that the fox like outcome is probably hers.

But also keep in mind that there are A TON of things it could be based on, given that the only hint is 'Japanese Folklore'. THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS THAT COULD MEAN.

Hate to be a Debby Downer on your hopes, but I doubt it's a maned wolf. The second I saw the narrow snout and huge ears I instantly thought of the cs Fennecs, so my thinking is that it is indeed a fox. If it is Lillian's then if would make sense for it to be a Kitsune, but as I don't know if it is and can't tell if there are extra tails under that blanket I'm leaving it as just a plain fox for now.
