Ooo new people! I don't think there's a single person on this thread who doesn't like succulents, most of the house plant variety are just so cute! and small! My favorite is Hens and Chicks. And weeping willows have got one of my favorite trees, they're so pretty.

Question! Are orchids supposed to keep their flowers? Because mine did not, and now the stems are dying BUT there are new leaves growing...? Not sure what to do. We have been watering it.

Welcome oxy! I adore wisteria, so beautiful, definitely one of my favourites, i always think weeping willows look a little bit sad but they do look pretty!

I think succulents are just generally beautiful - it's tough to dislike them! My favourite is sempervivum arachnoideum {i might not have spelled that correctly but it looks like it's covered in spider webs}.

I have only ever had one orchid - that died oops! - however most plants lose their flowers seasonally, and it might simply be a case of that. If the leaves are still healthy and growing {as you said they are} then I'm sure it's perfectly healthy! Just keep caring for it as you did before; although in late autumn and winter you can water it a bit less!

Welcome folie! Bamboo is pretty, not one of my favourites however definitely very pretty! I'd love to see photos of your succulent to see if I can help identify it {i may not be able to but it's worth a try!} i'd love to hear how you care bamboo because it could be quite nice to have them!

My moth orchid's leaves are turning a slight yellow, and it's been troublesome trying to get it back to it's original colour. Does anyone have a solution?

Leaf discolouration can be tracked down to a few different reasons, l would say it could be either nutrient deficiency (do you give your orchids orchid food? If not, it might be a good idea to buy some/use some!) Your orchid may also be getting too much or too little light - some plants prefer sitting in the sun all day long, whereas others prefer only a few hours of light per day, moving your plant to a more bright/shady area of your house may aid with the discolouration, you may also be having this issue due to overwatering? How often do you currently water your orchid?

I think it has to do with something with sunlight, since we've been having thunderstorms for the past week. I did take it inside so it doesn't get too much water intake. I was thinking of getting a lamp for my orchid, so I probably should do that.

that makes sense - and getting a lamp can be a good idea, where i am we're moving into autumn and soon winter so it can be helpful throughout that too! ^u^
