The door swung open, and Alex entered, glancing first at Rose, then at John, and then at Rupert. "I wasn't aware we had stowaways, old timer," he said, voice gruff.

"Well she is in the cell so that makes her our prisoner." Rupert said that like it was obvious.

"I meant the little girl and the old man, fool," growled Alex, stepping forwards to grab Rose by the back of her shirt. He lifted her up so they were face-to-face, looking her over. "A little sprout like you should be back on the mainland, not stowing away in the bottom of a rotting Navy vessel."

Ella nodded to Rupert. "I am." She looked at Alex. SHe stood up, only a couple inches shorter than him. "Put her down." She hissed.

Alex narrowed his eyes at the prisoner, then turned his attention back to the little girl that he was holding up.

"Well maybe i like stowing away. And put me down or you will be sorry." Rose said giving Alex a death glare.

"I was talking about the little girl you are holding." Rupert said to Alex.

"Oooh, I'm so scared," said Alex in a high falsetto voice. "Honestly, kid, you're gonna have to lose the cute looks to pull that one off. Lose an eye, or an ear, or cut yer hair real short. Maybe get a few scars." He heard clacking footsteps from the stairs and set her down, hissing, "Get along now an' hide, both of ye. Yer don't wanna be caught by ole' Crane."

"Put her down, or you will be sorry." Ella hissed, stepping closer to Alex.

John watched as Alex heald up his granddaughter. He snuck up behind him. "Hello Alex." He whispered creepily in his ear. "Put her down."

Rose went and hid a bit shocked Alex had put her done she was planning on cutting his hand off.

Liza looked at James. "Yeah I am a bit distracted." she laughed.
