Hey guys. A question to the current detectives on duty.

I was reading Atwoods 5 hints and am still trying to decode 4 of them. Those are

Metro
Birchii
Yes, Virginia
Still at the start.

Now the only thing I gather atm from a google search revealed Drosophila Birchii. Looks like a fruit fly with red eyes but need to dig further. My phone doesn't run certain sites so I am unsure if this is the right clue. I am going to dig up plants from the birch family now to see if any bear fruit.

Yes, Virginia aludes to christmas theme. So Red and Green are prominent. Not sure if anything else is relevant.

Still at the start.... No idea. Sounds like a song lyric but searches yielded nothing so far.

Metro... Same deal, no cigar.

So I need some help with anything you guys have found or already know about this.

Some other bits of info that may be important.

Atwood took the grapevine item as purple grape colored eyes. But its possible for green grapes if applied differently.

Atwood mentions another clue in her linked post. The clue I found is "There are five clues just ripe for the picking. Suggesting ripe grapes or possibly other fruit that can be picked.

Another of Atwoods posts when commenting about the clues says "you'd best be served" which suggests some sort of dish. The other clues might be other things on the dish?

Thinking about it now, the 5 clues may be 5 food items on the dish. Maybe the pup will look like a plate?

Birchii is in reference to this post by Birchii that contains the one thing all Atwood's staff pets have in common (as to which thing, close as I can tell it's the "points" -differently colored nose/tail/paws/chest from the rest of the pet on every one.

Metro has to do, I think with the pets of Atwood's someone found with song lyrics for names. I say this because the link someone posted to the song the lyrics were from

Did anyone have any Batman hints? xDD I'm sorry, but when I saw the owl today, it made me think of 'The Court of Owls' from the Batman comics.

Sadly i have to get rid of the owl ones by putting them in a locked foldder...
(my mom saw them on my account) they are sometimes considered to be a bad omen... i really liked them too

A lot of Native tribes see owls as a harbinger or death, or connect them with bad omens. (-: My tribe doesn't, but I know many do!
All cultures deserve respect; if Creation Fall's parents decided that's for the best, then it is. I know my mother would always go out of her way to avoid a certain number she associated with evil. Sometimes our ancestors are so in tune with their beliefs that they will do whatever they can to protect their children from evil. It may just be an owl to you, but to Creation Fall's mother, it's like seeing the grim reaper himself.

Ooh. Okay, i didn't look into native tribes about owls. *I literally googles owls and bad omens because i was curious*

Thats actually kind of interesting to learn. Especially that i know semi-know two more people who are native americans. Thats really cool.

Also, i was just in my swap folder to update my staff pups names to day ten only. And i found four new borns.

Why were you pups in there?! You're not for swapping! XD I'm surprised no one tried trading for them already!

I was thinking that, but I'm not sure. Hers can also be the fox one, too, or one that's not grown yet.
