Moonflight didn't listen as she staggered to the lake. She slunked into the water and tried to swim, but Moon just sunk to the bottom. After a few failed attempts, moon gave up and and took a nap.

he nodded slightly. "uh.. cool. that's certainly new. never heard of it before," capelin said, pausing for a moment. "what powers do you have? where did you live before now?"
xxmy questions make me seem out of character, even to me, capelin thought, letting his tail rest on the stone floor.
xxhe checked sandstorm for any weapons or something of the sort, or if her sandwing barb was aimed at him. at least, he assumed it had some poison. he thought of the tales of the dragonets of destiny and sunny, the nightwing-sandwing hybrid. she didn't have a barb at all. so... capelin guessed sandstorm got the lucky card when it came to hybrid powers. the legends of darkstalker also came to mind, and how he only had nightwing powers - special ones and animus powers, at that.

"I breathe fire, of course. I also have night-vision,breathe underwater, and, of course, the barb on my tail." Sandstorm sensed his worry, "Don't worry, I'm not gong to sting you. Unless i have a good reason too or you're trying to kill me." She made sure her tail was tucked into a safe spiral and smiled.

capelin took a step back, feeling as if he was too close to the quadbrid. her smile seemed a bit off. and so did the last sentence she had said. and it certainly felt sandstorm could read minds, despite how she said she couldn't. at least she didn't seem overpowered like some hybrids. "cool."

She saw him back up a bit, and she wasn't the least bit surprised. Dragons always did this to her "You're scared of me aren't you, seawing?" Sandstorm asked, tipping her head.

okay, okay. now that seemed creepy. and definitely mindread-y. so did the head tilt. capelin put his webbed talons to his pearl necklace again. "uh, not really."
xxcould sandstorm be the bomber? no, she wasn't at the academy until just now. but she could've snuck in and came in last to throw everyone off.

"You look nervous there's no denying that. I know because most dragons i meet act the same way. And most are scared of me." She shrugged. "I don't know why. Anyway, do you know where the library is?" Sandstorm asked, looking around.

capelin gave sandstorm another nervous glance. she seemed to go from scary i'm-about-to-kill-you from 'hey, what's up?' happy mood. he glanced at the hall behind him. the seawing prince turned his pale green gaze back to sandstorm. he picked his strong tail off of the floor, pretty sure he would continue walking and that sandstorm would walk behind him to the library.
xx"that way," capelin answered, pointing a turquoise-white behind him.
