"Staff trolling" is the staff trolling. Being internet trolls.
"Sacrifice" is a sort of a joke that we make during events.

What does "sacrifice" and "staff trolling" mean?

During the staff litter, the community tries to guess which artist has made which dog, and they "help" us out by giving us hints. Except not all of the things they say really are hints - a lot of it is just jokes, or purposely (and sometimes obviously) trying to mislead us.
Usually the artists only reveal their dogs once they are fully grown, or when we have successfully figured all their hints out completely. But in the meantime, we're having fun with the guessing games.
