greypaw shrugged, unsure of what to do. "i don't know... i'm fine with whatever you would like, lilypaw. this is my last day as an apprentice and it's going to be special as long as i'm with you." he purred, giving a friendly smile.

greypaw noticed her stifle a purr and he couldn't help but smile back, "sure! race you to the meadow!" he changed the mood, dashing off, his paws thundering against the forest floor. the meadow was a good place to train at because the ground was soft and there was always a lot of open space.

Toms! She thought raced after him bouncing off of roots of trees to catch up to him.

he had an advantage because of his longer legs, so he didn't try to his full potential. he dodged trees and undergrowth as he made his way to the forest, glancing slightly over his shoulder as he noticed her sprinting after him. he sped up his pace, determined to win, because he was quite competitive.

She swatted a paw at Greypaw's tail trying to slow him down. That tom sure is fast! But that didn't mean Lilypaw couldn't win.

greypaw felt something tickle his tail and he flicked his tail, trying to get whatever touched it to get away. he realized it was lilypaw and he accidentally swatted her in the face with his tail. "sorry!" he called, diving underneath some undergrowth as he drew nearer to the meadow, their destination.

{the tomcat blinked his eyes open. another nightmare, he guessed from the dread he felt at the tips of his toes, but mercifully it was gone from his memory. snowpaw got up and into the warrior den. he was late, but since his new mentor hadn't sought him out he presumed she was late too. "waterlily?" he asked, poking his head inside the dark cave.}
