It says "Cryptozoology" in Ethulai's signature. Not sure what that means.

Yes, cryptozoology is the study of creatures such as Nessie and bigfoot. However, I have no idea how that applies to the pet.

I'm late to the party; Just wanted to point out here that Ethulai said their Staff pet has something in common with Last years, and Last years was based on Australian Mythology, the Bunyip, which I assume if 'Cryptozoology' is a hint that, that may be what is in common, based on a myth, or another Bunyip like creature like lets say a Yeti, I don't know, or maybe another Australian Myth - Aboriginal Myth.
