I've been thinking about Atwood's hint, and wow am I stumped.

I think we might be looking at the wrong part of the clue though. I have a feeling more of it is important than just the number.

"Looking for a clue? You might hear one through 4467"

That wording seems a bit odd. The 'hear' is definitely important, but I'm not sure what it refers to. The last bit, "one through 4467" sounds like it could be a number range.

I doubt that's it, nobody's going to be confirming a pup this early in the month. The item might be important, but I doubt it's the clue.
