the she-cat whisked her head around to face leafclaw, her eyes flickering slightly over to the unknown cat beside her. "yes, kinda... but who's this?" she asked, her voice cold as she eyes the rogue cautiously.

"This is a loner named Peregrine." Leafclaw said dipping her head to the queen that was beside.

she glared at leafclaw, biting her bottom lip to refrain from yowling. "leafclaw?" she asked, resisting screaming at her. "can i have a word with you?" swiftstar asked in a low, annoyed, voice and turned her cold gaze over to the loner. "alone." she added, growling. she already had to deal with one rogue barging into their camp and attacking them like mice, and she didn't need any more conflict.

"Well I was going to say that a patrol found her, but okay! What do you need?" She asked.

she sighed softly, giving a soft glare at the loner from the corner of her eye before turning to leafclaw. "it's just... wait- if a patrol found her, why didn't they attack her and threaten to make her get off of our territory?" she asked suspiciously. were her warriors no longer loyal to her? to the warrior code? to their ancestors? she didn't want to jump to conclusions, but she was wondering why they had brought her back to camp.
