A bit relieved that he didn't have to share his food, he smiled back at Noah.
"Well, you can at least join me I guess. Like I said, I don't really know anyone yet", even though Onyx wasn't the most social fox in the forest, he somehow didn't want to see this one upset.

"I'm Onyx", he repeated, as he had already told the other fox his name. He felt his stomach grumble violently and decided to finally start eating. Gulping down chunks of hare, he glanced up at Noah.
