Cinna | Tom | 8 moons | Loner | Bisexual
Cinna's eyebrows raised in surprise as he felt ripples against his hind quarters and turned to see the leader catching up to him with ease. He looked on in admiration as she surged through the water, a picture of power and grace. Internally, he wondered if he would ever be able to seem so... empowered. He already respected her for the welcoming she gave him into the clan, though the way she looked at him was unusual. Almost as though she knew something about him... something he didn't. He shoved the thought away as he strained his legs to move faster in the water, hoping to make up for the inexperience with sheer force and keep up with her. As he slipped out of the water on the other side, he took a moment to look back at the river as he dragged his tongue through his fiery pelt a few times, eyes shining as he watched the water rush by. "I can't believe so many cats don't like it." he said as he felt the cool spray on his whiskers.
Emberstrike | She-cat | 24 moons | Warrior | Heteroflexible
Emberstrike turned to him as he explained, emerald eyes glowing with faint amusement at his embarrassment. "I see." she murmured thoughtfully, turning so it was easier to face him and curling her tail around herself. "Well, after I cool down, I was going to start working on this... thing we call a roof." she said with a slight chuckle, eyes flickering up to the top of the den, which was smattered with various holes and leaks. "If you're going to be in here for a while, perhaps you'd keep me company?" she asked, finishing a bit softer than she began. It wasn't common for her to be so hesitant- normally she was sharp and direct, if she was speaking at all. But this was new territory for her, being... conversational, and she was still a bit unsure as how to go about it. She watched his expression to her words carefully, her expression one of contained curiosity.
Gingerpaw | She-cat | 9 moons | Apprentice | Bisexual
Gingerpaw grinned at the voice and spun around to see her friend, nearly dragging him by his scruff into the shadows by the apprentice's den before answering, paying no heed to any sounds of alarm or offense. "More like tree-spying!" she exclaimed in an excited whisper once she had released his fur. "There's a new apprentice, and Spiritstar loves him! Ivystorm... not so much." she said in a rush, her voice hushed as her eyes darted around, making sure no one was eavesdropping. Though she couldn't really get in trouble for seeing something while out hunting, warriors frowned upon spreading information that wasn't common knowledge. She had always argued that nothing would be common knowledge if no one spread the information, but none of them seemed to appreciate her viewpoint. "And he knows how to swim! Stinks of the twolegplace though, I could smell him from the tree." she said, wrinkling her nose as she thought of the sharp, unnatural scent of the twoleg-infested area that existed on the outskirts of their territory.
