bounceflame started bounding over to the entrance. "race you to the river!" he called, rushing down the steep hill, dodging trees and bushes and big rocks. he skidded to a halt as he reached the cold river. "looks cold." he said with an devious grin.

flamestar was greeted by the cat he happened to be thinking about, poppyfire. the tom purred warmly at her presence and returned, i slept very well, poppyfire. how about you?" his orange tail curled with excitement.

leopardpaw raced after the tom, her tail flailing wildly as she ran. her ears pricked as she skidded next to bounceflame near the edge of the river. "i swear to starclan if you push me in."

Littleraven was already up. Honestly, he couldn't sleep. He just stayed up all night in the warrior's den staring at the wall. He wondered what was gonna happen today but he probably couldn't do much because he lacked energy.


beetlefur flicked his tail picking out all of the old rotten herbs. He had already planned what he was gonna do today and he hoped today would be a wonderful days without any worries or any pain.

poppyfire though for a moment. Should she tell the truth for should she feel being the happy she cat that he always knew. "ah it was great! I slept like a kitten." she smiled the entwined tails with the Tom.

bounceflame smiled once again. "too late." he said, giving her a little shove. bounceflame started to giggle teasingly, before he slipped and fell in himself. he looked at the she-cat fearfully. "hello there..." he said nervously, flattening his ears. she was small but could really pack a punch.

flamestar smiled at the she-cat, his shoulder nearly brushing hers as his green eyes locked on to hers. poppyfire was a gorgeous she-cat, but she was so sweet and caring, and that's what really made flamestar fall for her. he smiled at their entwined tails and his ear-tips burned with heat.

leopardpaw screeched as she fell into the cold water, her eyes widening. then she turned to bounceflame and quickly splashed him, her green eyes narrowing playfully as she saw him slip in. "that's what you get!" she teased.

bounceflame splashed back, purring as he did so. "do you think any fish are watching us?" he asked, staring into the blue water. suddenly his stomach grumbled. "oh, i knew i was forgetting something! i didn't eat yet." he said, splashing leopardpaw once more. he turned to look out into the rushing water, waggling his haunches. "watch this, i'm going to catch a fish just like this." he said, leaping into the air.

Rushpaw had exited the apprentice's den, his hetero hues glassy and still half-asleep. Letting loose a large, gaping yawn, he raised his tail and trotted into the clearing. He looked about, though his mentor was no where to be seen. Shrugging, the young tom had almost jumped a moment later when his stomach released a ravenous bellow. Rushpaw looked up, staring longingly at the fresh-kill pile. If only apprentices were aloud to eat before their training, the small cat thought with a sigh. "Better join some sort of patrol," he shrugged. Rushpaw caught a glimpse of Flamestar, though what he didn't expect to see was him intertwining tails with Poppyfire. Smiling softly, the apprentice sighed. He always knew they were perfect for each other. Though he was going to ask Flamestar if he could join a patrol... he didn't want to intrude.

As the sun continued to climb over the horizon, Sparrowpaw blinked her eyes open. She slowly rose to her paws, and stretched the sleep out of her legs. Looking around, Sparrowpaw realized that Leopardpaw and Sunpaw were absent; she was the last to wake up. Sparrowpaw lowered her tail, training had been very stressful on her, and Spruceleaf never approved of Akasha being her mentor. Sparrowpaw tried to push her feelings away, exiting the apprentice's den.

Sunpaw looked around for something to do, huffing with boredom. Sunpaw disliked being bored, and now Bounceflame and Leopardpaw were out of camp. He grunted, and started to pace around the clearing, wondering what to do.
