Friday lifted a paw that was a little bit swollen at the joint. "I'll stay. Um, what do you mean when you say 'anymore'?" she asked. "Did something happen?" She didn't realize that Luke had been abandoned, both by his family and Rosie. If he was to tell her, she may not remember, but at the very least, she could give a listening ear.

He thought for a second, and decided to tell her. "Yeah, anymore. I had a good friend, I've told her things that I've never told anyone." He looked back at the trees as he spoke. "But something happened, I don't know really, but she just ran off on me. Now she hates me probably." He said quietly, a sad look in his blue eyes. He refrained from telling her about his parents, only Rosie would know.

[If and when Rosie gets a mate, she will still be flirty to other males, just not as much. :p]
(Rosie never changes. She gon' be all flirty forever. xD)
Koda blinked, the smile on his face wavering. He stared at her for a moment, then asked, "do you?" His voice was quite as he spoke, face only inches away from hers.

He sighed, his ears laying flat against his head as he looked through the trees. "No she does. There is nothing I can do anyways, she already gave her heart to someone else." He said quietly, remembering back to when the DarkStorm wolf came up, he knew the look in his eyes. "I guess I just have to forget her." He said quietly, he shifted a bit to tuck his injured paw to his chest, his fur brushing Fridays. His jaw was clenched, so many emotions running through him. He looked at her, letting a small forced smile play on his lips. "Its OK, thanks though Friday." He gently licked her cheek in a thank you.

Rosie tilted her head to the side. She just didn't understand Koda at times. One moment he was in love with her, the next she wasn't so sure what he was thinking. "Of course I do!" she exclaimed. She licked his muzzle again but didn't expect for him to mirror her affections.
"If you love someone, never give up on your love for them! You don't have to forget her, but the memories that you shared with her will always stay with you," Friday said, wanting to express herself with her hurt paw, but knowing better by now.

Koda stared for a moment longer, then smiled and licked her back. "I love you too," he said. He hadn't been sure if she was serious at first, but she had been, and that made him happier than he could ever be able to explain. "Goodness, I love you so much. How did this happen to me?" He asked himself, his voice slightly hysterical as he let out a slight laugh.

He looked at the forest once again, his ears flat against his head. "No..I need to forget." He said quietly, his blue eyes searching the forest for answers. Luke was a kind soul, but when it came to certain things, he would push down his feelings and try to forget. He tried to forget about his parents, but bringing it up brought it all back. He knew, deep down, that it was never going to happen anyways. Never. So in his heart, he built a wall, locking those feelings away. His eyes continued to stare at the trees, letting the cold weather sting his paws.

"We both got fortunate Koda. I'd do anything with you and for you," Rosie said, now starting to lick Koda's ears, just like a mother wolf does to her pups. With a final nuzzle, she pulled back to look into his golden eyes.
Friday shrugged. He wanted to forget and she wanted to remember. Something was wrong with that picture. "Luke, I just have to say something. You might not agree, but I'm going to say it anyway. The she wolf was frustrated and she held out her paw for encouragement. You were lonely and you grabbed on. Both of you must have benefitted in some way, even if you can't see the outcome right now."
