It just takes some envisioning of what you want it to be, and then working on it till it is satisfactory. Even if you have to do it little by little.

Great i would an avatar of a realistic version of my hamster, she is a syian kind of large and fluffy, her fur is light brown kinda yellowish (see in siggy), and has blue eyes. Would two rares be enough?
