Hello everyone! I'm Levi and I'm also a moderator for SCS. I currently don't own one but I do have my staff custom in the works. I figured I'd just pop in and say a quick hello, and that I'm here if you have any questions or concerns. c:

Also, I know people don't like to hear it but I'm just going to give a little warning about something I've seen around concerning the rules. Right now you can have an unlimited amount of adopts, but it clearly states not to abuse that privilege. These adopts are quite new, so if you try out for 6/19 adopts for example and win all of them then the ownership becomes pretty unbalanced! This is just a quick reminder to hold back and let everyone try out. There hasn't been anyone I've noticed specifically but it's always good to give a warning so you don't hurt something for everyone else!

I figured the fanclub could use a bit of revival. so, I decided to post some questions here and formally introduce myself :' >

I'm Crimoodle, better known as Crim and I'm one of your moderators! I own one kiddo named Alkie so I have one SCS kitty already :'D He's always open to tentative friends and whatnot for anyone curious <3
Back on a moderating standpoint, I personally I try to make the community as happy and safe as possible- I want everyone to have fun with the adopts and have fun talking to each other, so I feel my job is to make sure everything functions smoothly! I'm always here for a chat if anyone should need it, so if anyone ever needs someone to talk to or has a problem with something you can swing a private message my way and I'll do my absolute best to do whatever needs to be done.

On any note here's some of the questions I said I had; there is a set for owners + nonowners so everyone can answer them if they'd like (and if you don't thats fine! <3).

I swear, one day I will make a big introduction post for me and my two cats, Sylvie and Mutt. But today I'm just answering those questions.

Do you write stories or more in depth histories about your dogs/cats? If you have more than one, is there one in particular you write more about than the others?
I write a lot about my characters, and even though I scrap most of the stories, sometimes the plot stays canonical. Both of my cats have in-depth histories, although I haven't had the chance to write anything down yet.

I'll probably draw and get art for these two in the future, but I don’t have any right now.

Mutt and Sylvie are mates! Honestly it was a kind of cliché housecat-meets-charming-stray thing. Sylvie, when she lived in the suburbs with her first owner, used to sit in her owner's only tree. Mutt was a well-known stray, pretty easy to see with his beautiful silver coat, large size, and one curled ear. He wasn’t too interested in taking a mate, but he and Sylvie talked in her tree and they both realized that they cared about each other. Sylvie sealed the deal with a proposal. In the future, they'll probably have a few litters and expand their family. Mutt wants a big family, and he'll be very involved in the lives of his kids, grandkids, and beyond, as will Sylvie.

Finally, what is something your dogs/cats really enjoy? Any guilty pleasures out there?
Sylvie has secretly wanted to live life as a stray since she met Mutt. She thinks the lack of rules and the struggle for food and shelter sounds fun, despite Mutt's lectures about how happy she should be to have an owner. Mutt, of course, loves his owner. He is the sweetest little baby at heart, despite his tough demeanor. It was mostly just for show anyway.

Hey guys! I'm excited to announce that Sylvie and Mutt have had their first litter -- six adorable little kittens! Neah has taken one, I am definitely keeping the first and possibly a second as well, and one kitten may be gifted to a friend. The rest, however, will be going up for non-owner adoption in two weeks when they're full grown and have their own pages!

To make it simple, I circled all the ones who will not be for adoption in red, the ones who will be for adoption in blue, and the ones who are undecided in green: click. They all have curled ears, and some may grow to be quite large due to their father's size. If you'd like to start preparing in advance, the contests will be centered around their relationship with their parents and littermates. Art will not be required and will only increase your chances of winning if it describes the kitten's relationship with their parents and littermates.

If I have the muse to do it, then yes I will. Sometimes, it involves a lot of editing and such, and I might do some on Deviantart.

I sometimes do art [I like doing white versions most, so I don't butcher designs...] I haven't got art of him yet though

Shion likes to have baths and cuddle, and in fact he will jump into the tub and paw at it until you turn it on, or even lap at the bits of water left over after a shower [my sister's real life cat did this while they lived with us] and he has one guilty pleasure...That would be bits of pear, they don't seem to make him sick but he's always stealing them when he should not

for all those who are interested, the first SCS competition has been up!
its been up for a little bit now but it hasn't been posted anywhere other than the main thread so I figured putting it here too might be of benefit.

Our first competition is up here for our canine owners! For those of you that only own felines, don't worry; you will get your chance soon.
