Soul was slightly surprised when she put her head on his shoulder and he smiled.

"Yeah. Really beautiful..."

He muttered, not taking his eyes off of her.

After a few moments, he leaned his head back agenst the base of the mushroom and sighed.

Today had actually taken a turn for the better, which didn't happen real often for Soul.

He pushed some hair out of his face and watched the glowing mushrooms with awe.

Only in Under Land... He thought with a smirk.

Tamilia made a happily little noise as Soul agreed with her, and she nuzzled her head into his shoulder, obviously contented. Toppy stretched out against her leg and purred, beginning to fall asleep. Tamilia, too, felt slightly tired, but she was determined to stay up late enough to walk back home. Besides, seeing the mushrooms glowing again made her heart whirl. The last time had been when her mother was still alive, and her father hadn't run off. It was a fun day her parents had planned: they ran around the forest and caught rocking-horseflys, and let them go in miniature 'races'. They had lunch on the cap of a huge mushroom, and then spent the rest of the day riddling with Cheshires. At the end of the day, they ate a late dinner, and sat in the mushroom clearing, watching them come to life and glow vibrantly. The memories faded, and Tamilia looked to Soul, a small smile playing on her lips as she leaned back slightly. "You know...you're the only other person I've shown this clearing to..." Casting a glance to the mushrooms, she sighed happily, then looked once more to Soul. "And, well...I think we might be something, Soul." Quietly, she slipped her hand around his neck, and slowly pressed her lips to his.

Soul smiled when she told him about the clearing and was about to respond when she kissed him.

He felt his face grow hot, but he was determined not to pull away.

After a few moments, he unease dissapeared and was replaced with a longing that Soul couldn't really describe.

He kissed her back and felt his heart flutter ever so slightly.

After a few minutes, he broke away from her reluctantly and offered her a smile.

To him, it felt like they were the only two people in the whole world.

He just sat there, smiling like an idiot, reliving those few brief moments in his mind.

"Yeah. We might just be doing something right."

He said finally with a happy and contented smile.

Natsume had gotten to his feet and began walking up the trail again, shuffling along the path. The sound was bold and rocky, like he didn't have a care in the world. If he were to get spotted, it wouldn't have mattered. He was pretty far from the Mushroom Forest now, looking around for somewhere to sulk. He wondered if his clan was still where they usually were. At a camp hidden under the waterfall, just past the queen's castle. He wasn't an Alyssian, so he could probably get by on a couple of sightings, and he wasn't a Redd, so he didn't care to have the obligation to stay. He debated on going, but just as he was about to cross the border into the Redd Queen's Territory, he froze, looking at where the territory began. He was just thinking it over at this point.

Mayia slowly break a bit inside, staring at the water and tapping at the invisible wall in front of here that kept her from touching the lake's bay. Hunter would have been able to go in, but not her. She just had to wake up here. Barlow just had to claim her as a servant. She was getting tired of it all. Lowering herself to her knees, she sat, touching the chain around her ankle. Accidentally, she tugged too hard and a sharp shocking sensation hit her. "T-That wasn't... a good idea...." She said to no one in particular, a little stunned from the shock.

Tamilia was, at first, slightly hesitant about kissing Soul. They had only admitted that they liked each other a half-hour ago at most, and she felt as if she were forcing him into kissing her. But her thoughts were washed away as Soul pressed back into her, his own lips moving against hers. Slightly surprised, Tamilia tightened her grip around the boy's neck, but only for a moment. Slowly - after what seemed like an eon - she felt Soul pull away, and she, too, leaned back, though her arms were still around his neck. Seeing his dumbstruck, awe-ful smile, she couldn't help but giggle slightly, then felt her own mouth melt into a smile as he spoke. Tamilia nodded slightly in agreement, slipping her arms down from his neck to his waist. With a sigh, she laid her head on his stomach, nuzzling in softly and looking up to him with wide eyes and a slight giggle. "Well, I have to say...that was...invigorating." Tamila grinned foolishly and nuzzled her head back into his stomach, hiding her growing blush. She knew that they had done more than kiss; kissing was quick, and to the point. They had taken minutes...so what did that classify as? Biting her lip, she looked up to Soul, grinning like a child at a fair.

Soul smiled as she laid her head on his stomach and folded his arms behind his head.

"Indeed it was."

He said, watching her smile happily.

He looked up at the sky, the glowing of the mushrooms illuminating the tree tops, giving the whole area a dim light.

He pulled the band around his forehead down around his neck, letting his bangs fall in his face slightly.

His white hair glowed slightly with all of the different colors of the mushrooms.

After a few moments, he looked around for Toppy, just now remembering the little Cheshire.

"Uh... Not to kill the mood here, but where's Toppy?"

He asked quietly, slightly concerned for the Cheshire kitten.

Tamilia watched Soul with a small smile, half tempted to take his headband when he rested it around his neck. Then again, he had said it was like Tami's hat, so she refrained, simply looking at him with a dumbstruck smile. Tamilia tilted her head when Soul began to glance around, almost frantically, but his words made her slightly scared. 'Where is Toppy!?' She felt terrible; she had been so wrapped up in Soul and their moment that she had let her kitten - her only reminder of her parents - get away. Tamilia bit her lip and looked up to the boy, slight fear in her eyes. "H-Hang on..." Carefully, she unlaced her hands from around Soul's stomach and stood, peering around in the dim light of the clearing. She raised her hand to her mouth, and began to call out, "Toppy? Toooo-ppyyyy?" There was a sudden, shrieking mew, and the cat leapt into sight, leaping onto Tamilia with enough force to knock the poor girl end over end. Holding the kitten - who was scratched and trembling - she looked around, frantically trying to see the source of the Cheshire's fright and panic. A sudden, shrill call alerted her, and she dodged behind a mushroom just as a large - but not fully matured - Jabberwock thundered into the clearing. Clutching the kitten to her chest, Tamilia glanced fearfully to Soul, trying to tell him not to move. The jabberwock bellowed angrily and slowly peered around, trying to find the Cheshire it had been hunting.
