Here's the last post from the old forum, to start our new roleplay:

"Right, assuming you're a strong swimmer, this should be pretty easy,"Spiritstar purred. "All the apprentices have to be able to swim before they can become warriors." She wondered if this young cat could do it, without any training. But she knew if he got in trouble, she'd easily rescue him. She'd had plenty of practice... She looked down at the shimming blue waters, excitement coursing through her. This is what she was born to do. Swim.

Ivystorm's fears evaporated the moment she saw the water. Her only safe place, her happy place, was in the water. "I'll go first," Ivystorm mewed confidently ,and launched herself into the water, strong legs propelling her through the fast-flowing river.
{Stormgaze~Male~Location:Camp~Tag:Emberstrike}
(Stormgaze is a black tomcat with a white underbelly, green eyes, and the sharp muzzle, thin paws, and bushy tail that resemble a fox's. He has an understanding personality, but he has his secrets.)
Stormgaze padded into the warrior den to take a nap, but ended up tripping over a cat instead. "Rat scat!" he yelped. "Sorry, Emberstrike!"

Owlpaw jumped from limb to limb, gracefully landing and digging her claws into the soft dirt below. A limp squirrel hung in her jaws. The lithe and petite apprentice already showing to be a very skillful hunter. She glanced around and padded back to camp, looking for somecat that might want her big squirrel.

Oakfrost lay in camp peacefully, soaking up the warm sunlight, her dark pelt shining slightly. She mrowed happily and rolled onto her back, letting her belly get warmed in turn.

"Hi, Owlpaw!" Featherpaw mewed, trotting over to the skilled apprentice. "Wow! Nice catch." Featherpaw shrunk sadly, her dappled pelt looking small on an even smaller frame. "I'm so bad at hunting... all I can catch are birds," she said bitterly, than shook her head, looking hopeful. "Maybe you can teach me sometime?"

"Greetings, Oakfrost. How are you?" Ivypool asked, materializing out of the undergrowth. She was dripping wet, her usually light fur looking darker due to moisture. However, her green eyes glinted happily, a mood she very rarely showed.

Nettlepool silently padded around, treating the cats after the fight. He grimaced, seeing all the cobwebs, marigold and dock gone from his stock. How was every cat acting so calm? They should be sorting out the dens, securing the barriers! He turned, looking for the kit.

Brackentail was sat, nursing his injured paw. He watched Bramblefur diligently dragging rambles and vines towards the warriors den, fixing it up.

Owplaw blushed, "N-no, I'm terrible at birds. But I can teach you everything else!" she mewed happily, adding, "Do you want to share this with me? A symbol of our partnership!" she mewed happily, sitting down.

Oakfrost looked at the wet she cat with amusement, "What...?" was all she said, curiosity sparking in the females eyes.

Featherpaw looked delighted at this idea. "Sounds great!" she meowed, sitting down. The rich scent of prey filled her nostrils, making her mouth water eagerly.

Ivystorm shook her pelt, getting water all over Oakfrost. She yawned, showing off her pointed white fangs. "I came to let you know we should be working on den repairs, if you're up to it."

Stormgaze hustled up to Nettlepool, his fur sticking out at random angles. He looked tired. "I, uh... I kinda threw out my shoulder while fixing the warriors' den... got any herbs to relieve the soreness so I can get back to work?"
