Ollie was born during a horrible storm one warm summer night. Oliver's mother died giving birth to him, and he never knew his father. The pod took him in as an infant and he knows no other way of life. But yet, Ollie can't help but want to explore the world outside of the water. He is very close with Gar, and Oliver would do almost anything for him. Oliver knows he's not supposed to surface, but after the pod goes to sleep, he often swims to shore and just stares at the stars.

Oliver won't tolerate bullies; he's learned quite a bit about fighting in his twenty-three years. He's an optimist and always looking on the bright side of a situation. If you ever want to have a competitive game, Ollie's your man. He's stubborn and arrogant, but he's a gracious loser. He has a compulsion for adventure and often winds up in over his head and has to get some help to get out of it. Without meaning to, Ollie can be a jerk sometimes without realizing it. The only time he has ever apologized is when he pissed off Gar, asking him about his scar.

Ollie's funny and charming, and he knows his way around the surface. When he's in a relationship with someone he cares about, the thought of cheating is about as likely as shark adopting a baby dolphin. If anyone needs a sympathetic ear or shoulder to cry on, he's your man. Oliver has a no judging policy- except for hurting animals for anything other than food.

Diana had a happy childhood with her older brothers Thomas and Mason. Thomas was three years older than Diana, and Mason was six years older than her. As kids, the three were inseparable and could have taken on the world. In college, Diana was a bit of a party girl, but she always managed to keep her grades up. She fell in love with Oceanography and absolutely loves her job. On the night of her twenty-second birthday, Diana's parents died in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. After their death, Diana became a bit more reserved and spends more time away from home to cope with the loss. She drinks a little too much when she has her bad nights.

Diana is very serious about her work and puts her job above everything else. She has a great sense of humor and loves to make other people smile. She's a little bit of a flirt, and isn't afraid to use her looks to get what her brains can't. Once she has made her mind up, almost nothing can change it. She loves the ocean almost more than anything else. She spends most of her time in the water and loves to joke that she must be part fish because of how at home she feels there. When she's not in the water, she's out having a good time with her friends. However, she has her bad nights when people bring up their families and often drinks too much during these times.

Diana doesn't believe in love at first sight or true love. If people get too close to her, she shuts down and pushes people away. Her self destructive tendencies make her absent on the dating scene and she actively works more to avoid dating. Diana needs someone to help her see that love is more than just a chemical reaction.
