what albums/songs are your favorite and why?: infinity on high! I love all the songs but I'd have to say Phoenix and What a Catch, Donnie. I've heard them both live and they always soark an emotion in me i cant explain
what is your favorite thing about fall out boy?: oh man, everything. They're so amazing and kind and have impacted so many peoples lives
how/why did you get into fall out boy?: I've listened to them sine before I could pronouce the name (i was really little) and I didn't realize who they were but i've loved this music sooo much and after a while i finally realized who they were and got hooked on all their old albums. After a while Ab/Ap came out and i finally got to see them in concert which was so amazing I cant describe it.
anything else you'd like to share?: hmm, did I mention that andy hurley is an angel?

what song have you been listening to most recently, and what has been drawing you to it?

snitches and talkers get stitches and walkers. it's a bonus track on the black clouds and underdogs limited edition version of from under the cork tree, so i haven't heard of it until recently. it has a heavier sound to it, and there is pete screaming (he screams rather well.). one, i love when pete screams in fall out boy songs, and two, i do love heavier songs. the lyrics are clever and i love the part when everything gets quiet and pete starts to scream. it sends chills down my back. apparently the reason why they didn't release it was because the sound was a bit too much like the sound of three cheers for sweet revenge by my chemical romance. another one is pretty in punk, because the fact that is the ultimate nice guy song. there aren't that many fall out boy songs like that, most of them are rather aggressive (thanks pete amirite). plus, i love listening to evening out with your ex girlfriend because of how young patrick sounds. its honestly great. speaking of mcr, does anyone remember that one time patrick filled in for bob at a revenge era show? there is a picture somewhere..

idk why? I love the chorus? I love the way the chorus rolls. It's not awkward to say like quite a lot of fall out boy songs and I love Patrick's vocals so much man.

a couple of my favorite songs would have to be the carpal tunnel of love and sophomore slump. but now i'm having a crisis because i can't choose.

UPDATE ABOUT ME IF U CARE AT ALL (u should probably read this!!): i really wanna get this club up and running again, but with school and work, i will only be able to get on friday-sunday (and sometimes random days if i'm really feelin' it). i'm gonna start to go back and finish the members list and get that fixed up. i have a couple of things to ask from you guys if you're interested.
1.) i need a good handful of people to help me keep this forum alive while i'm gone. if you're interested in doing this, pls shoot me a pm (just so i can gauge interest). i need people to keep askin' questions. i love hearing people's opinions about stuff.

Surprisingly, I'm once again FOB as heck :0

I actually haven't listened to much FOB for about 6 to 8 months, but recently I started listening to FUTCT and TTTYG, and it's like falling in love all over again.
I'm currently addicted to Snitches And Talkers Get Stitches and Walkers, as well as Pretty In Punk and Dance Dance.
For me it's just a bit of nostalgia really ^^ A ALOT of FOB songs are pretty bittersweet for me - I still can't sit through What A Catch, Donnie or Miss Missing You because of how much I just tear the hell up whenever I think about the people and places and memories I have connecting those songs together. Dance Dance always reminds me of middle school/intermediate dances, where everyone wants to ask everyone else to dance but they're all too shy; Snitches and Talkers makes me think of grungy emo-punk Pete and the gang, maybe in an alternative timeline where they dropped the pop from pop punk and just went full MCR-level emo; and Pretty in Punk makes me think of desperately trying to impress a pretty girl mostly haha ^^
I just love having so many songs with nostalgia that isn't.. negative. That's what FOB is to me, and I'm glad to have it back.

how/why did you get into fall out boy?: i can't actually remember, i think i may have heard young volcanoes and then listened to the rest of the album??
anything else you'd like to share?: i've been a fan since mid 2014, their songs bring back a lot of memories from around that time.
