The pup finished off the bagel, the majority of the cream cheese all over his muzzle. He responded to Alessa with a tiny nod, his cheeks slightly pink. He felt bad for having admitted to wanting more than a serving of food.

[Boomer]

"Alright, I still have some money left." she said quietly, "Don't worry about it, okay? I'm sure one of the nurses will even buy you something to eat." She felt bad for the tiny pup.

hyde saw the pups come outside and he grinned. "Look at the one who got away!" He laughed loudly, stepping out in front of them. glaring at alessa he almost looked hurt. "Why did you try and run? I thought things were okay how they were... i wasn't hurting you.. i was giving you the best i had.. now you've made me angry, and i don't like being angry"

Darren looked at the pancakes and smiled, "Thanks, it's been a while since anyones cooked me real food" He sighed happily. Taking a few bites he looked to codi yet again. Swallowing, he inquired "Are you going to the masked event?"

[Boomer]

Alessa held tightly onto Smokey and flattened her ears. "H-he was lost and I was helping him home." she said, slightly quivering, "His folks don't t-take care of him and he's got infections, s-so I was gonna take him to the hospital." Her eyes were filled with truth, but also fear.

[Spencer Reid]

Smokey/Tagged; Alessa, Hyde:
Smokey snuggled close to Alessa. "Is our quiet game over now?" he asked terrified.

[Boomer]

"Just let me talk, okay?" whispered Alessa, "Here, hang onto Scarlett." She gave the little pup her beloved toy to hang onto. She was afraid that screaming would only make the situation worse.

[drift.]

Codi avoided his gaze, "Theres really no point...'' she said taking a bite so she had a reason not to speak.

Smokey/Tagged; Alessa, Hyde:
Smokey accepted the treasured stuffed pup and clung to it, eyes wide with fear.

Hyde snorted, "you could have told me.. i could have helped take him home." He explained, rolling his head around dramaticly. "but we can't take him to the hospital.. we'll have to fix him up at home.. if they see you and you spill your secret.. then we'll have an even bigger problem on our hands" He growled in a warning tone.

Darren looked at her with a confused tilt. "Why not? you're young and pretty.. i think you should go. you could meet someone special there" He thinks out loud, taking a couple more bites of his pancakes.

Codi glanced at Darren, her ears lowering, she stared down at her plate. "I doubt it..." her voice barely audible.
