Ashpaw felt a chilly breeze ruffle his fur. He shivered before padding over to Maplehawk. "Hello Maplehawk. Can I get you anything?" the apprentice meowed to elder.

Dawnflower caught a few more squirrels before sitting down near the hole the two cats had been burying the prey in. "It sure is getting chilly" The she cat meowed before taking a moment to pull out a small piece of bark stuck in her paw. "Should we head back? I think we've caught enough." DAwnflower meowed to Blueheart. "Unless you want to catch some more"

OOC: Hello everyone I'm not dead! I'm so sorry for not roleplaying for so long. Family troubles and some time in hospital have meant I haven't had time to rp. I'll try and rp more! Is it possible to consider time skipping to when the kits are able to see/speak/walk properly? I feel there isn't much to do with them currently.

She opened her tired eyes and looked up at the white apprentice "Not really, I am fine, Thank you Ashpaw" she meowed not breaking her glance at him at all "..Hmm Do you know, that you look like one of my sons Hailstorm?" she meowed remembering one of her youngest sons. Shaking her head "I am sorry, I coulden't not say that..." she meowed embrassed.

Fernstar nodded to the male. "Thank you, Ashspots. We can go in and tell him now if you'd like." She mewed, turning around and flicking her tail towards the medicine den where Dustpaw's wounds were getting treated.

Entering camp again with the moss, Threeleg wasn't in a better mood. He entered the den and saw Dustpaw and licked it as he'd said. "Good, now this will sting." He mewed as he pressed the water-soaked moss onto the apprentice's leg. He washed the wounds before placing the reddened wad on the ground beside him and reaching for some sticks, bindweed and marigold. "I'm just going to tell you the truth, Dustpaw, I'm not sure if you're leg will heal properly, if at all, and right now it's most likely you will come out with three legs." The medicine cat meowed as he wrapped sticks around his patient's leg with the bindweed, applying some marigold beforehand. He made a mental note to take Goldenpaw through bindweed later on. "There, that's all I can do for now. We'll just have to wait from now on."

Juniperfrost entered the nursery and looked at Gullstep. "I'm sorry Applekit had to go so soon," She mewed, giving the other queen a comforting lick on the shoulder. "She is with StarClan now, and I'm sure they will care for her."

Sparrowpaw sighed, looking down at his paws as he curled his tail around them. "Thanks Goldenpaw." He mewed as the medicine cat apprentice finished patching up his wounds. "Was Pinepaw okay?" He asked Berrypaw, trying not to show as much concern as he felt for the brown tabby tuxedo.

Aquilo smiled at the ginger tabby. "Don't be upset if they reject you, they are in a tough situation at the moment. If you want a better chance at being accepted, I would give them a few days. Oh, and don't just walk into their camp, wait until you are found by a cat. But the more obvious, the better." He advised, waving his tail in a friendly manner.

Whiterain picked up the small bramble tendrils and carried them across to the apprentices' den. He set them down before beginning to patch up the den with what little materials they had left.

Another nod. Ashspots wasn't a tom of many words. "It's only right to tell that to him. I haven't really spoken to the kid, but I think it's only right to tell him." Then, he proceeded to head right into the medicine cat's den, tail held up high behind him as he showed that confidence of a seasoned warrior in his gait, one who had lead quite the life. He waited for Fernstar to enter, figuring she'd handle bringing the news, giving a dip of his black head to both Threeleg and Dustpaw.

Blueheart gave a short nod "Yes, lets head back so we dont catch too many squirrels so the forest goes empty of them" he agreed starting to dig up the squirrels they had caught. "Ill pick up these" he meowed picking up three squirrels by their tail "Can you carry the rest or should I take some more back?" he asked his voice muffeled by the fuzzy squirrel tails.

Dustpaws eyes widened as Threeleg said that he might only have three legs once he was done in the medecine den. "What do you mean? cant you heal it?" he asked panicked. "Cant you do anything else?" he added his tail twiching in distress.

Otterkit was scared by the sudden panic of his mother and other cats. He crawled closer to Gullstep trying to hide in her fur giving off worried mews. He didn't know what was going on but all he knew was that he was scared.

Fernstar padded into the den after Ashspots, smiling a greeting to the cats inside. Although she was disappointed with the apprentices' behavior, she was yet to think of a suitable punishment. "Of course we can watch them, we have to speak to Dustpaw after all." She mewed, dipping her head to the younger male.

"I can give you some poppy seeds for the pain, but that's it. Unfortunately I don't work miracles." He mewed before looking around at Ashspots and Fernstar. "Would you two mind watching these three for me? I really should be going for the halfmoon. Nothing terrible should happen with Dustpaw unless he jumps around or moves much, but if anything happens please come get me." The medicine cat meowed before looking down at Goldenpaw. "Are you ready for your first halfmoon?" He asked his apprentice.
