the constellations aren't real or accurate bc I know nothing about stars rip sorry

to win this gg you have to design the last constellation that will go on its tail! you can either make up your own or give me a reference to a real one. An explanation to go along would be nice too, but not required!
edit: forgot to add tongue oops. The color is the same gradient as their inner ears

Edit: mods, please move to created pets!!

Cancer – The Crab
Source of story
According to Greek mythology,
Hercules, Zeus’ son, was given 12 labors
by Hera, Zeus’ wife, which would each
test his strength and courage. Hera
hoped these 12 labors would prove to
Zeus that Hercules was unworthy of his
love. The second of these 12 labors
was to kill the Lernean Hydra, which
had a long snake or dragon-like body
and nine heads. If anyone succeeded in
cutting off one of its heads, it would
grow another one in its place.
In order to make sure that Hercules failed at this task (Hera was very
jealous of Zeus’ love for Hercules), Hera sent a large crab to grab Hercules by
the heel and distract him while he was fighting the Hydra.
During the fight with the Hydra, Hercules, who took his nephew Iolas
along, would cut off one of the Hydra’s heads and Iolas would sear that neck
with a torch so that no new head could grow back. Fearing that Hercules might
indeed defeat the Hydra, Hera sent in the crab to grab Hercules’ foot.
However, as the crab grabbed his foot, Hercules stomped down with his other
foot and crushed the crab. He then cut the final head of the Hydra off and
Iolas seared it, thus defeating the Hydra, and Hera.
To honor Hercules’ great victory and to remind Hera of her failure, Zeus
placed the constellation of Cancer the Crab in the sky.

Taff made a practice from a young age of taking the constellations he was blessed with at birth and giving them personal meanings, such as one might with a tattoo. For Cancer Taff has used it for many years a reminder to not care about what others may try to do to bring him down.

The Ursa Major is a constellation that can be seen in the northern hemisphere and part of the southern hemisphere. Its name means Great Bear in Latin. It was named that because many different groups of people around the world have thought that its stars look a lot like a bear with a long tail. All of the stars in the constellation except Dubhe and Alkaid are moving toward the same point in the sky through proper motion. This group of stars is known as the Ursa Major Moving Group. The seven stars in the upper-left corner of Ursa Major form an asterism called the Big Dipper.

tail constellation; on his tail he has canis major link here
The reason he has this is mainly because it has the brightest star in the milky way.

-Canis Major was described by Manilius as “the dog with the blazing face” because the dog appears to hold Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, in its jaws.

I got some information from here

tail constellation Lepus
South of the celestial equator, and immediately south of the well known constellation Orion is Lepus, the Hare. Lepus was one of the 48 constellations astronomer Ptolemy listed in the 2nd Century and remains one of the modern 88 constellations. It is often depicted as being hunted by either Orion himself, or his hunting dogs, Canis Major and Canis Minor. Lepus is also associated with lunar mythology as the Moon Rabbit.

Four stars, named α, β, γ and δ Lep, form a quadrilateral known in Arabic as Arsh al-Jawzā, The Throne of Jawzā.

يد الجوزا yad al-jawzā ‘hand of the central one’, from يد ‎(“hand”) + جوزا ‎(“central one”)

Jawzā, ‘the central one’, initially referred to Gemini among the Arabs, but at some point they decided to refer to Orion by that name. During the Middle Ages the first character of the name, yā’ (ي, with two dots under it), was misread as a bā’ (ب, with one dot under it) when transliterating into Latin, and Yad al-Jauza became Bedalgeuze. This was then misinterpreted during the Renaissance as deriving from a corruption of an original Arabic form إبط الجوزل ibt al-jawzā ‘armpit of the central one’.

Betelgeuse, also designated Alpha Orionis (α Orionis, abbreviated Alpha Ori, α Ori), is the ninth-brightest star in the night sky and second-brightest in the constellation of Orion.
