All of us came to the islands by mistake. Originally we were all
well-trained, pampered, and loved domesticated horses. In fact, we were all
heading to one of the most well-known prestigious horse shows on the planet
when we crash landed here. The Grand Prix. But we will never make it there now.

We all landed here in what we call " The Great Crash". While traveling to the Grand
Prix, our transportation boat got lost, and crashed in a rocky coral reef that was a
piece of the great island we now live on. In the crash, our boat hit five large rocks
hidden beneath the water, splitting the boat in hundreds of pieces, and killing the
entire human crew. Many horses died in the crash as well, leaving us as the only
survivors.

Now, without the help of humans, we need to find new ways to live. We will need to
make a new hierarchy, a new way to fight against the unknown predators on the island,
and a new way to find food. Welcome to the Islands. Welcome to our new way of
survival.

Discussion Thread

Welcome to the "Islands" roleplay! In order to have a fun and exciting
time in the rp, we have a few rules we would like to share with you. Please follow
them!

One. Please follow all CS rules!
Two. Each player can have only two characters each. Please keep genders
even if you can!
Three. If you want to reserve a spot please pm me and wait for me to respond
before posting your character(s). Reservations will only be held 24 hours!
Four. This will be a literate roleplay and that means I am expecting at least a
large paragraph (6-7 detailed sentences). Extra details are encouraged, and
more than the paragraph is heavily preferred!
Five. Please make your forms and roleplay posts neat! All forms should include
at least the character's name, their age, gender, role, and at least a bit about their
personality. I would really prefer if your character form has lots of detail that goes
beyond what their role says in the next post. If you want to add anything new to the
forms feel free to do so!
Six. Please don't fight or get angry at someone ooc. Only "in character" drama is
allowed here!
Seven. Please post all character forms and discussion on the discussion thread.
Eight. All mares can only have a single foal (unless I state that they can have
twins) and are responsible for finding other members to roleplay their foal. A member
can only play a foal if it exceeds their character limit, and they are very active
roleplayers.
Nine. As this is a realistic horse roleplay, only naturally occurring coat, genders
(no lgbtq+ horses please!), and eye colors are allowed.
Ten. If you wish to have your characters start a special story bridge outside of
the regular storyline, let me know via. PM so we can discuss the details.
Eleven. As owner of the thread, I reserve the right to kill off a member’s
character(s) if the member has dropped out, mysteriously disappeared, or hasn't obeyed
the rp's rules.

The Intelligent
This character is a very smart-quick witted horse that is well-known
among the others. They are physically pretty to look at, but not
particularly beautiful. They often think very logically, and have a
lack of outer emotion because of it. They are very good at solving
group problems, and are often looked to for therapeutic advice. They
were once a master at show-Dressage, and were bred from good lineage.

The Party Animal
This horse is an intelligent horse, despite their odd behaviors. They
often seek to amuse others, at all costs, even if they are physically
or emotionally hurt because of it. They are not known for beauty at
all, and when calmed down enough (which isn't often) they are
actually very socially awkward. They are friendly, and treasure all
relationships with others. They often act wild and seemingly
untamed, and they love to party and have fun. They were once a
talented, cross-country steeple chase horse.

The Vain
This horse is well-known for their beauty and physical appearances.
They are vain and boastful, and often try to out-do the others just
to be annoying. They think very highly of themselves, and are often
confused when the others do not "fall at their feet" and "follow their
every command". Most of the other horses avoid them because they
are often found to be annoying. They were once a master at
show-dressage.

The Brave
This horse is by far the bravest of the bunch. They are the daredevil
of the group, and will do anything dangerous you ask of them if it
sounds like fun to them. They are very loyal to their friends, and
they are very protective of the ones they love. They are very
socially popular, and they like to brag about their latest feats.

The Worker
This horse is all about work. They are a large draft breed, and
they were trained to pull carts and chariots for their human
owners. Now, they are often used as a builder for the horses,
and can knock-down trees and heavy weighted objects to
complete their work. They are very friendly and kind, and very
loving towards foals. They are often considered a "gentle giant"
among the horses. They hold onto their own little mental
"demons" though, and they are somewhat emotionally closed up
because they lost a loved one in the Great Crash.

The Shy
This horse is above all, shy. They are very beautiful to look at,
but they hate attention, so they often cover up their beauty.
They love nature, and they have a need to constantly rescue
injured animals that they find in the islands. They are loyal to
their few friends, and will protect them if the need comes. They
had a rough past with their past human owner, who abused them
to make them the "perfect horse". So they often have nightmares
and odd PTSD moments because of it. They used to be a master
at show-jumping.

The Angry
This horse is well known for their lack of happiness, which all was
created from the loss of two of their close loved ones in the Great
Crash. They are always grumbling and rebelling against orders and
group decisions, even if it's just because they want to creat a fight,
and not because they actually dislike the group's idea. This horse
has a very twisted mind, and loves to watch the others fight and
hurt each other. They love watching pain, and they love to destroy
things. They have many scars from past fights. They used to be a
strong Hunter-jumper before the Great Crash.

The Tag-Along
This horse is not much older than a foal. They were brought on the
boat to the Grand Prix originally because their mother was in it,
and they were not weaned yet. Unfortunately, their mother died in
the crash, and they are now just the tag-along in the group. They
just follow the leader, and do their best to complete the tasks they
are given. They are often bullied by the older horses because of their
lack of ability to do things. They were well-bred from a champion
horse racer and a champion hunter-jumper. They have a great ability
to develop and adapt to different situations.

Weather and Season
The roleplay starts in the late fall season, relatively soon after the boat crash.
It's not technically the official mating season yet, but in a tropical area like
this it feels like it all the time. So mating season will be year-round for these
horses and for the other animals that live on the island. Winter is coming,
which means rough tropical storms are approaching fast, but the horses are
generally unaware of that. They must find a good shelter soon in order to
survive the winter.

Currently, the average day forecast is;
Light fog in the mornings at a warm eighty degrees Fahrenheit, clear sunshine
at noon at a hot ninety degrees Fahrenheit, and heavy rainfall after sundown.
The night is generally a comfortable seventy degrees farenheit with heavy
storms. There is high humidity all day long. The horses must find shelter in
order to survive the storms every night.
