Yeah, I'm gonna agree with you there. I'm getting a really bad doll vibe from Baby and Ballora, which is not a good thing. I've always hated dolls and found them terrifying (not as much as animatronics, of course). Ennard is the scariest for me so far, just from that one teaser. I remember being terrified of Mangle when she was first teased, so another freaky tentacle animatronic isn't too welcoming. I hope his voice is equally as frightening as his appearance.

Also, despite this getting official voice actors, I do hope Scott voices Phone Guy (depending on where this falls in the timeline, of course). Heck, even if it isn't Phone Guy, maybe Phone Dude. LOL, I just like his Phone Guy, honestly, and want him back.

I used to be a ventriloquist, but I didn't use standard store-bought dummies, I made my own, they weren't the creepy kind, they were funny looking

@mega: I agree with you on the phone guy thing, he's my favorite character tbh. I'd hate if he wasn't voiced by scott as usual.
@sith: that's awesome! I find traditional ventriloquist dummies kind of spooky, but really intriguing. making your own sounds pretty neat.

Heh, that's exactly the reason why they scare me. That used to be the reason why animatronics scared me in the first place, the way they looked so alive yet weren't really messed with my mind as a child. I'm still scared of mascots, but funnily enough my obsession with FNaF has completely killed my original fear of animatronics. At least, animal based ones. Humanoid ones still give me the creeps (I still can't look at Balloon Boy for too long without getting the creeps. Of course, this position is now replaced by Ballora).

LOL, poor guy. I only encountered the mascot once at Chuck E. Cheese (thankfully) and I remember being cornered with my sister between two games. She snuck out, but I was too scared and just cowered there until he left. Didn't help that my sister told me that the mascot was actually the animatronic walking off the stage to greet us. I remember our Chuck E. Cheese having only one Chuck E. animatronic on a circular stage. When the show was over, the curtain would close and the mascot would come out shortly after. It was pretty easy to believe her because of that. I wonder if that's one of the subconscious reasons why FNaF scared me so much when it first came out.

I've never encountered the chuck E cheese style animatronics, as far as I know, we simply don't have anything like that where I am. The uncanny valley thing gets me a little bit with ballora and balloon boy, but baby doesn't scare me for whatever reason.

My Chuck E. Cheese recently got shot up, that's why I refuse to bring my kids there, I live in a rough area, people will do anything to make money or just cause chaos. And considering that two idiots are running for president, I feel that my kids are going to grow up in a virtual Cuba.
