"What?" she meowed and bolted to the she-cats side "Now wen you feel a pain push" she ordered

Whitestar stumbled outside and looked in horror as the distant flames crept closer.

Nightshade looked outside as she growled and began to kick snow onto the flames.

Bloodrose saw what nightshade was doing and also began to kick snow on it.

Snowflake licked one of the kits.

"Windclaw can you go get some water for her?" she asked

The flames began to spread closer to the camp. Just as it seemed it couldn't get any worse, twolegs in gray, yellow-striped suits barged into camp and used a long yellow thing to spray foul-looking water on the flames.

Nightshade growled as she quickly took cover and bloodrose joined him.

Plague sat there watching.
