Why thank you! It is an honor to start the Hunger Games. *deep bow* FYI, everyone starts out with their chosen weapons. I'll begin after the horn.

Amri ran, the underbrush scraping her ankles as she dashed past. She didn't dare look back, in fear of losing her footing. She had to win the games. Leaves and twigs tangled in her hair as she ran, and a cut stung where a tree branch had cut her cheek. She began to slow down as she came to the creek, panting. To her surprise she found another tribute by the creek, drinking.

Jay was startled out of his thoughts when another tribute ran out of the forest vertical to him. He swiftly stood, pulling one of his daggers, then ran for the cover of the trees. He knew he stood no chance to the other tributes.
