i have been too busy lately to go out and catch some pokemon but im really glad they changed the spawn mechanic, i live in this small city and just normally see an uncommon per day sometimes i dont even see any and its annoying aaa

nuu i missed a pikachu and couldn't go find it because of me needing to go to karate.
although i may have found a pikachu spawn
Also I missed a nidoking because of the glitchy game and yesterday I missed a 400+ nidorina

I'm actually happy that I put that lure thing to the wild Pokémon, cause as I stepped on the sidewalk, my phone buzzed saying that a Pokémon popped up. I was so happy and excited that I was shaking so badly that I kept failing the I finally caught it XD

Lol today I was in the city and had an idea to yell "OMG IT'S A SCYTHER!!!!!" Heaps of people came crounding with their phones and shouting "WHERE IS ITT!?!" While I was laughing my butt off.

For starters it would seem that spawn mechanics have changed up a bit. The "uncommon" Pokemon are becoming more common, particularly noticeable in rural and suburban areas where usually only Pidgeys and Weedles can be found.

Hah, whoever told you that was a liar. All that's on my nearby list right now is a weedle, pidgey, and rattata. Same, boring pokemon as always (I had the fully evovled versions of these guys within the first week of my playing).

that is niantic update in some areas it seems to have stayed the same, in others I have noticed improvement

I get all of my information from trusted sources. Silph Road researchers, mass amounts of consistent anecdotes from players all over the world, information released by Niantic themselves, and what information players can gleam from looking at the coding of the game.

It's unfortunate that the spawn changes have not affected your specific area, however that does not make it a lie.

The suburbs where my mum lives went from Weedles and Pidgeys to Ghastlys and Eevees. My own house has an uncommon Pokemon spawn every morning as opposed to the usual Weedle spawn, and the cities I visit are rife with uncommon Pokemon, noticeably more than before. Thousands of other players are reporting similar changes. Those who mapped out spawn points in their area have been clearly able to display where the new spawn points are and that more spawn points now deliver less common Pokemon.
