Yes... Realistic wolf roleplays are few and far between. Some call themselves realistic but they don't vomit up food for the pups and pregnant alphess. They don't fall in love, they don't all breed... There aren't many loners, and there is usually no joining packs for loners as they'd be killed as soon as they crossed into the pack's territory...

In the real wild, wolves live in family groups, not packs.
The parents lead their pups, and when the pups are old enough, they
leave to find their own mate and build their own little family group.

'Pack' wolves are wolves that have been raised by humans, or placed in a
nature preserve by humans - together with wolves it is not related to.


So 'realistic wolves' is actually a rather wide concept depending on what kind
of wolves you want to play.

Oh and the led solely by an alphess thing... Although I'm sure it could happen, it wouldn't happen very often, a male would fight for the position very quickly...

I've been thinking of making a roleplay about a modern day slave trade. Young people, generally people from young offenders and so on are getting kidnapped by a gang (I know very vague xD ) And are kept in prisons until shipped off to where they are needed. I know its only a concept at the moment but I'm worried nobody would join xD I'll try and steer it away from romance since I'm getting slightly sick of it now.

Ok Rant - I wish people would think about parent's traits. I mean if an evil person has a kid there hardly going to be a goodie-two shoes. It annoys me I think they should at least have some resembling features to their parents -.- In this one rolplay (off cs) a wolf has had a litter, considering this wolf has just killed tons of other wolfs one of it's puppies is not going to hurt anything or be mean to anyone - I mean they don't have to be pure evil just slight resemblences -.-

Force breeding? Lol. There is not such thing as 'force breeding' between wolves.
Not even in the alpha dynamic packs.

The alpha female will accept a male she finds strong/dominant enough. There is no
'crushing on' or 'relationships' in a realistic wolf roleplay. Thus there would be no force breeding either,
because a wolf does not recognize rape.

The only 'sexually humiliating' act that takes place, is something that isn't even sexually loaded
nor there to make puppies. In the alpha dynamic packs, sometimes a wolf will hump another wolf
to show dominance. That's it. There is no force breeding going on, just a 'I am more powerful than
you' show.


I never understood the fascination people have with force breeding. It is just an excuse to RP
rape, and really I don't understand why someone would want to RP that.

It's especially annoying (For me) when they write a long paragraph without any freakin' commas or full stops! *Head desk*

I agree with you, I try and make them slightly like the parents but also their own person(That doesn't make any sense does it? XD)

Yes, it is true that certain animals force themselves on others. However, wolves don't
have that kind of group dynamics. So force breeding in wolf RPs is not really 'realistic'.

As for lions... Not really. The male has the highest rank in the group, and no matter what
male that is, the females allow him to mate with them. So, if the leader male changes,
he has the right to mate with the females - even after killing their cubs, and they do not oppose
this because it is how their 'society' works.

A lot of animals also have that 'hump the lower group member' show of power, which isn't
breeding, or 'sexual' in any way.

Now, if someone wanted to RP some real force breeders, they should RP ducks. Ducks are
violent, aggressive force breeders and so keyed that a male duck was recorded sodomizing
another dead male duck.


It bothers me when people just RP force breeding for the sake of it, no matter WHAT
animals. It is disgusting to begin with, so couldn't they at least bother to get their
facts right.
