Lilith-Rourke rushed into Runes class hoping she wasn't late, she sat at a desk behind Travis and Aaron "Hey boys." She said with a wink while pulling out her parchment, ink and a book she got from the library, The Study Of Runes vol.1 she was doing extra reading since Runes was one of her favourite classes but she noticed she forgot a quill, "Hey, A-A-Ron you got a quill I can borrow?" Lilith-Rourke asked with a smirk on her face.

Atticus Maverick

Atticus arrived at Runes class and sat at the very back in the farthest corner possible, today he felt extraordinarily shy and was hoping the person that decided to sit beside him was at least nice. He pulled out his supplies and began getting a head start on todays work, praying he wouldn't be called on to answer any questions.

"What do you mean?" Harry asked as he turned to see who she was talking about. Ginny and Harry's eyes met before Ginny looked away in a blush and Harry shifted his eyes away in embarrassment.

Aaron looked back to Lilith-Rourke, who had asked him for an extra quill. He smirked and shook his head as he reached into his navy blue bag. "You still gunna call me that?" He asked. He reach over to her and handed her his extra quill which was ruffled and semi-bent due to being at the bottom of his bag for so long. "Here's my extra quill, Dourke" He replied jokingly with a snicker. [i]

[i]Silvia walked into the classroom carelessly. She scanned the room for an open seat and decided to sit by a boy who was in the back. She too did not feel like sitting up front where the danger of being called on was greater. She threw her book onto the table and with a heavy sigh threw herself into her seat.

"Is that the last of you? " Professor Black finally asked. "Very well, let's get started shall we? " She stood up, flicked her wand and a projector turned on. Up front the there was an image of 24 runes under the title Rune Binding. "We will begin with the introduction of Runes. Runes are tools used for divination and opening up psychic awareness. They are a set of 24 tiles or stones that contain primitive carvings of characters or letters. Like the Tarot, you can use Runes to gain messages and spiritual insight. A more intermediate wizard can use these to enchant an object or person. The explanation as to which rune means what should be in your books."
"What we're going to do today is read each other's runes. Remember, there is no such thing as a coincidence when runes are involved. Now, get into groups of at least two and come up to get a bag of rune stones; one per group." Professor Black said as she stepped aside to reveal a chair that had velvet bags closed shut with golden string.

Ron sighed and said, "I don't bloody see why its your job to deal with You Know Who in the first place. It's the Ministry of Magic's job to deal with evil wizards and not..teenagers." Soon Mrs Black started class and he looked at Harry when the teacher announced that they had to be put in groups. He then motioned Hermonie and said, "She said there can be more than three people do you want to be in ours or...? he then trailed off. Ron didn't know if she had any other friends she wanted to be with.

Tomas was running a bit late because he was talking with Mae a little bit to long than needed. He then sat next to the two girls and he gave a care free laugh, "Of coarse i have a plan.." He then pulled out the book Mae had lent him and said, "This should help a little. I believe it has ancient magic or at least foreign magic that hopefully none of the blokes know how to do." He then then quieted down as the teacher started to speak. He then whispered to Evelynn and Eira, "Want us three to be in a group?" Tomas then got up and grabbed a bag of Runes and sat down.

She nodded her head solemnly, "He has too, i mean he almost killed me last year to get to Harry." She then fiddled with her quill again, "What better time to get Harry when he's doing some dangerous task? "
She then relaxed slightly when she touched her arm. Ginny let go of her quill and put her hands on the desk, "Your right, i'm just worrying too much." She sighed deeply and got up to get a bag of Runes for Freya and her.

Darren noticed someone sit in the back with him and he glanced over at the girl. He then said, "You hate Runes as well?" He then sighed, "I don't like it at all. The symbols can mean so many different things." He then laughed, "One time last year i docked the house 20 points because i couldn't tell the difference between these two stupid runes."
He then asked her once the teacher was done speaking, "You wanna be partners or something? I doubt we can luck out of the first project."
