Liza left James to steer the ship. "Hey Jane, whats up?"

"I hear we got a new captive," Jane replied to Liza with a sly expression on her face.

Milo laughed quietly. "They probably thought you were trying to trick them into letting you get out." He lowered his voice even more, and said, "These Navy folk aren't very smart. I've had to play it dumb for the last month just to fit in."

Ella laughed and looked at him. "Why'd you join?" She asked.

Ingo sat on the deck quietly trying not to draw attention to herself. She had seen William on that navy ship and he had said nothing to her, Ingo cried a bit. She was very miserable, Will didn't talk to her, Patric had been killed and everything in general was just going wrong. Ingo hated her life at that moment but then thought about good things, perhaps Will hadn't seen her, Patric's death might have been an accident and things were sure to get better. Ingo sat for a few moments before scrubbing the deck, she didn't know what else to do so did that.

[I think it's kind of funny that you guys just threw Patrick's body in the ocean, especially after the fact that Alexa promised him that he could go home if he heard that anything had happened to his family.]

Milo shrugged, looking at Ella. "I figured that joining the Navy would let me get as far away from the pirating life as possible. The farther away from you, I figured, the safer you would be. I guess I was wrong."

Indigo wiped her hands nervously on her breeches and said, "I can't believe Patric's dead, just like that. Really makes you think, it could happen to you."

James nodded. "It could have been Ella though." He shrugged. He started swabbing the deck.

Ella nodded. "I see." She said. She stood up and started pacing again.

Indigo nodded, then sat on the railing and looked out over the ocean. "Don't matter now, do it, though?" she said, a little sadly. "Our ole' Cap'n is locked up down below, our first mate is taken captive, our quartermaster's dead, and our other first mate is MIA."

"Ella," said Milo, sitting down on the bench outside her cell, "Who was the boy I killed? I don't remember ever seeing him before."

Liza walked into her quarters and sat down at the table. She grabbed the bottle of rum off of the table and took a large swig.
