"Because we have a daughter that looks nothing like us! Do you any OTHER explanations?" Stone asked, a frown on his face.

"But how else would we get a kit that doesn't look like us?!" Stone replied sharply.

Dandelionpaw shook her head. "If Thrushleap would have just shut up about it, then dad wouldn't have thrown himself off a cliff! This is all mom's and Thrushleap's fault!" She hissed. She wanted someone other than her father to blame. She wanted to believe that her father was still a noble and strong cat.

Spottedpaw sighed. "What happened happened. We can't change the past."

"Look at him!" Frost meowed, nudging Dust. "He looks like you!"

Dust squeaked at the nudge, stopping hid nursing to "look" around. He smelled all around but he could only smell his parents. Weird. He stayed in this spot in case it happened again, in between hid warmth pillows.

Stone sighed. "You're right. I'm sorry." He nudged Frost.

Dandelionpaw shook her head. "It shouldn't have happened. Dad should have seen our new siblings." She whispered.

Specklekit saw Dandelionpaw and Spottedpaw together. Oh yeah, they were Leopardstripe's kits too.

Frost frowned, resting her head down. She was aghast at her mate.

"I know." Spottedpaw groomed his sister, just like their mother would. He was more angry about Stripestar than anyone else. He had no right to deny his father's honor. +=+=+=+
Dust gave out another squeak. It wasn't happening anymore. Why wasn't it happening anymore?
