Stone shook his head, then a horrible thought crossed his mind; did Frost cheat?! He sighed. Maybe he was too ugly to stick with.

"What's wrong?" Frost meowed, a worried look crossing her face. "Are you okay?"

"Mom left him, I guess." Spottedpaw sighed. "I wish I would have known. Maybe I could have convinced him to stop."

Stone shook his head. "Its nothing. Well, yeah, it is something. We wouldn't have a daughter that doesn't look like either of us unless..." He cut himself off.

Dandelionpaw looked down. "I just wish Thrushleap never loved mom. It would have been so much easier, and dad would have never... jumped into that gorge."

"What?" Frost meowed, aghast. "I'd never cheat on you!" she meowed, scowling. "How could you even think that? I love you so much! Have I not made that clear to you?"

"I love you too." Willow meowed, reluctantly padding back to his mother and siblings.

She looked up after a bit of walking she caught the scent of the clan , all she had to do now was go there

"But how else would we get a kit that doesn't look like us?!" Stone replied sharply.

Dandelionpaw shook her head. "If Thrushleap would have just shut up about it, then dad wouldn't have thrown himself off a cliff! This is all mom's and Thrushleap's fault!" She hissed. She wanted someone other than her father to blame. She wanted to believe that her father was still a noble and strong cat.
