Sail the Seas (Pirate RP Needs Members!)

Ella frowned. "Me being a pirate, it's not likely." She said. She wrapped her arms around her knees and started breathing into her hands, warming them up. "I wish it was warmer." She said.

"You're telling me!" exclaimed Milo with a laugh. "I'm not even a prisoner and I have to stay down here!"

"You can send someone else." Ella said. "Sorry if I'm boring you." She said. She stared at the wall, thining about The Maiden.

"Hmm?" said Milo. "Oh, no, you're not boring me. It's better than being down here alone, that's for sure. And nobody would want to take my place- I'm a new recruit, so they make you do all the hard stuff. Swab decks, clean the brig, even cook meals." Without thinking, he added, "I'm an awful cook."

"Milo was an awful cook. But that's one of the reasons why I loved him." Ella said. "He laughed about it instead of getting upset." She said. "It was cute."

Milo grinned to himself in the darkness, then turned to Ella. "Your name is Ella, right?" He put a hand through the bars for her to shake. "I'm..." he thought for a split second, then said, "Alexander Hartfield. But you can call me Alex."

Ella shook his hand. "Nice to meet you Alex." She said. She pulled her hand away, then wrapped it back around her legs. She was wearing a tank top and some jeans. That wasnt entirely helpful with the cold. Ella looked at his face, she recognized a few features, but couldnt place them. "You look familiar." She whispered.

Milo turned back into the darkness with a small laugh. "Don't be ridiculous! You're a pirate, and I'm a Navy recruit. We couldn't possibly have met before today." He went to sit down, then stood again. "Promise you won't try to escape if I run upstairs for a couple of blankets?"

"Fine." Ella said. She laid on the floor, her head pressed to the cool wood. She shivered, but closed her eyes. She knew sleep wouldnt come any time soon.

Milo watched her for a second, then turned and trotted up the stairs onto the deck. It was nighttime now, and the sky was filled with stars, each one glittering icily in the dark heavens. He shivered in their cold light and ran quietly across the deck, grabbing a blanket for himself and one for Ella. Then he trotted back to the brig and handed the scratchy wool blanket through the bars to her.
