There is nothing about that on the steam page, but scott games says cancelled due to leaks.
but I've seen some videos of people going into the source code and brightening up the image, and it looks like it might have some lore under what we think is the game being cancelled.

Chill, people! It's not cancelled. Remember when Scott released FNaF3 "early" because he was "hacked"? And it turned out to be a troll game? This is exactly the same thing. Anybody falling for it obviously doesn't have much faith in Scott. Why would he cancel something that is going to make him tons of money just because of a few tiny leaks? Supposed voice leaks and name leaks are nothing to cancel something for. Geez, people, no wonder he's able to prank you so well. (Please don't take this out of context, I'm being sarcastic, if it weren't for me checking Dawko first, instead of Scott's website, I'd be concerned too.)

The highlighted lore is very interesting, in fact, and it leads me to believe that we now have an answer as to why these animatronics would be locked underground. Also, that "leaked" Ballora voice clip? NOPE. SO MUCH NOPE. Why must this FNaF game be the first one I can play before watching Markiplier? I probably won't get past night one the first time one speaks to me. Foxy's "pirate song" was creepy enough.

p.s. i'd really appreciate advice on how to make it look a little better/corrections on my anatomy, I drew them mostly from memory so I'm sure there's more than a few problems to fix that I've missed.

when I first saw the image on Scott games, I was like, "wait, what?"
Then I remembered when fnaf 3 was presumably "leaked." And in reality, it was just There is no pause button (one of Scott's previous games) with freddys face pasted on it. Scott must make thousands of not more off of fnaf, so I highly doubt I would just cancel a game over a few leaks. I haven't yet read the hidden text, but I might check it out later today.

Looks amazing if it was just based on memory. My only criticism from comparing it with Springtrap from the game is that his bottom jaw needs to be a little wider, his forehead needs to be higher and his nose needs to be bigger. But I could be wrong, haha, this is just what I see when comparing the two.

Also, I was perusing Amazon for FNaF merch, putting all the action figures into my wishlist, since I could only find Bonnie at the mall, and the Golden Freddy plush since WalMart seems to always be out of plushies. And I saw a Springtrap plush, supposedly from the Funko brand, that would come out in October. I decided to look up Funko's website and in October they are going to be releasing more plushies. Nightmare Freddy and Foxy, Springtrap, Toy Chica, the cupcake and the Puppet. I do hope this doesn't count as a spoiler.

In other theory news, I can't help but think Sister Location is going to be based more on Silver Eyes than the original FNaF saga. I was looking at the FNaF4 Steam page and the description made me pause. Scott said that it was the final addition to the original story. But not the final for FNaF, since the Silver Eyes book came out shortly after, and now we have Sister Location. There's also a certain hint in the source code that furthers this theory. But no matter the outcome, I just hope this is set before FNaF3. I like the thought that the children found their peace either when the building burned down, or when Purple Guy met his demise. It just sounds like the perfect end. But then again, Springtrap didn't really die in the fire, and Purple Guy didn't "die" in Springtrap.

People seem to think that Baby and the gang of new animatronics are from the toy era. They could have been designed during the toy era and the designs got shelved for a while. And then someone must have found the designs or something, updated the tech, (since they seem a bit too high tech just in the way of them move like we are shown in the teaser trailer) My current theoretical placement of the sister location in the FNAF timeline puts it in between Fnaf 1 and 3 somewhere around the late 90s- early 2000s

The plushies haven't shown up where I am, but we don't get a lot of merch for a lot of different franchises in stores here so *shrugs*
