"Adderstrike! If you keep doing this, then maybe I WILL go with Beaver!" Rustpelt didn't have time to think about what was coming out of her mouth.

Specklekit opened the towel with all her effort. "Ashkit, stop! Calm down! Tell me what's going on!" She felt like crying. This was scary!

''Let's take him to Silverleaf or mom.'' Sparrowpaw said. This wasn't normal. Something was wrong with Ashkit and she knew it. ''Don't unwrap him!'' She ran over and tightened the wrap of towel. She picked up the kitten towel and ran over to Cloudgaze. ''Mom, somethings wrong with Ashkit! He was acting all mean and weird, and then all of a sudden he was back to normal!''

Specklekit knew what was happening. The voices in her head told her so! She leaped onto Sparrowpaw's back and dug her claws into her back. "LET HIM GO!" She hissed.

"STOP IT! YOU'RE HURTING ME!" Ashkit screamed, tears streaming down his face. "STOP IT! PLEASE, STOP IT!"

"Fine." Adderstrike flattened his ears, laying down on one of the branches.

"YOU'RE HURTING HIM!" Specklekit started finishing the hole at the bottom of the towel so Ashkit could get through.

Ashkit;;

Ashkit fell through the hole, landing on the floor. But that didn't hurt nearly as much as what was happening to him. "STOP IT!" he screamed. "LEAVE ME ALONE! STOP IT!"

"Then we're done." Rustpelt stormed back home, her stomach churning with guilt though she didn't show a thing. she entered the house, scanning the cats for Beaver as her eyes stung with tears.

Specklekit stared Ashkit in the eyes. "Calm down. Calm down. I know what's happening, you just need to calm down." She started pelting him with licks, just to soothe him.

Beaver sat in the corner of the cabin, having found moss to cover his small wounds by himself. He was chewing on a mouse, though he looked depressed.

''Can one of you explain what's going on?! Is this some kind of sick joke?!'' Sparrowpaw hissed. She threw the towel to the side and looked at Ashkit. ''If you say another bad thing about my father, you're going back in the towel.''
