Glitch is not your average dog. Often found laying around doing
absolutely nothing, he's a dog that can go from zero to sixty in
no time at all. One second he's smiling, the next his pearly whi
tes are clenched over someone's neck. He always tries his best
to put a morbid smile on everyone's face, and enjoys the nervo
us laughter that follows his own barking cackle. He's a simple
guy, and gives his loyalty freely to those that can bring him a
bit of fun; or anyone he's indebted to. Glitch owes precious fe
w debts. While he's a joker, and a jester too, he can be deadly
serious. He loves attention when he wants it, and makes sure
that anyone in his space who's unwanted knows exactly how
much time they have to get out of his sight. Because he's
missing his left eye, Glitch is extra defensive of those that
aren't in his sight. It's not unusual for him to turn and gnash
his teeth at anyone approaching him from his blind side. As
such, he still repeatedly ends up being the center of attention,
shiny coat speckled crimson and jaws spattered with whatever
bits are left of the other guy; after he's done fighting
correcting them. Ironically, he despises crowds and hates large
gatherings. Too much noise. It's noisy enough in his own head.
Although he may be a bit capricious, Glitch isn't Bi-polar. He's the
way he is now because he lost a fight, and lost himself a long time ago.

His sanity is back where he left it; in the slack, bloody jaws of a beautiful dame. He wasn't strong enough to protect her then. She took his heart and took his soul, when she died with her belly full of his pups. Took his eye too. When it comes to relationships, both romantic and not, he can be pretty finicky. He doesn't like two-faced dogs. Glitch has enough split-personalities to go around; he can't be bothered with those who are hypocritical and deceitful.
Which is why some dogs he'll snap at, and some he'll sweetly nuzzle. It's also the reason he only has a few close friends that are crazy enough to continue
to associate with him. Glitch loves pups, and goes out of his way to look out for them. The puppies usually go out of their way to avoid him. He doesn't
mind, because it's probably for the best. There was a time when he might have been a good father; but again, that was a long time ago. Glitch was a completely different dog back then. He isn't one to forgive and forget and he can hold a grudge for however long it takes. He has few living enemies, and although very few are stupid brave enough to mess with those he cares for, he's always willing to crack some skulls.

There's some speculation as to what exactly happened to his left eye; he's practically the subject of every scrap of gossip the gang's got. Some think that he lost it because of the sickness, some say it's the mark of banishment he wears from his last pack, because of his insanity. Ulfric the Tyrant, is probably the only one who knows the true story. Not every dog is lucky enough to be left for dead after being mauled by a pack, and walk away with only a missing eye. Some of the Gang's dogs have a theory that he's a cannibal, and he injured the eye in a fight with his first meal. They justify that one with all the blood he manages to get on himself whenever he has to take care of somebody. It's not his fault he's a little inefficient; besides it's no fun if they die quickly.

Sleek fur that's mostly a light cream, which is pretty difficult to keep clean when he's living on the street but somehow he manages it (most likely by spending an obscene amount of time grooming). Also no scratches, scrapes or scars visible at all. Black-backed and a plumy tail that curves, dark brown eyes, tall and slender with an elegant snout (or so he thinks of himself)

☆ Bio:
Benjy has lived his whole life as a street dog, ever since escaping the breeder's at the tender age of eight months. He likes his freedom and prefers to steer clear of humans, infected or not, who might try and approach. He thinks very highly of himself and would never sully his reputation with the other street dogs by consorting with humans; little does he know that he's already rather disliked by most for his superior and stuck-up attitude believing that he's better than every other dog. The reason why he hasn't been taken down a few pegs yet in his three years of life is simply, that he can beat any challenger in a fight, can outsmart any dog who dares to try and chase him off, and generally finds things like hunting/scavenging for food and other survival skills to be easy while other dogs struggle. For this reason, despite his obnoxious attitude, he has some "friends" who stick by him because everyone knows that if you're Benjy's ally, life will get easy for you; but the majority of dogs prefer to make their own way and avoid the unpleasantness that's Benjy's personality.

☆ Personality:
Obnoxious and full of himself, the most infuriating thing is that he has great intelligence and talent at all sorts of things (tricking humans, obtaining food, fighting, tactical maneuvers for territory) so many of his boasts truly are accurate, which doesn't make them any less annoying. Less believable though, is his claim that he's "the perfect example of the canine species" who's destined for a great fate and to live forever as a beacon to all dogs. Benjy is extremely self-centered and believes that his city is the whole world and he is the best dog in it. Despite believing that he is the "protagonist" he's also lazy and entitled with no real wish to actually do the work to gain control of a gang or a group or to seize power, instead he believes that destiny will come calling to him when the time is right and he'll ascend to greatness without having to lift a paw or make any effort.

Although Benjy is self-centered, he does find time in his day to do a good deed for other dogs sometimes, although usually only after they pay him many compliments (he's pretty weak for compliments) and he views it as a very magnanimous deed that he's done, and expects the other to be overwhelmingly grateful even if the favor was nothing more than half of a hot dog pulled from the trash. He's totally unaware of how ridiculous he is, and is in denial about so many things, including the fact that he has no friends who really like him for the way he is. Part of this is due to the fact that he has never known a dog who he had truly regarded as an equal, so far in his life he has only met dogs who he viewed as inferior. There's a lot about life that he doesn't know he doesn't know.


☆ ... One day, Benjy was approached by Ulfric and asked to join the small group of dogs journeying away from the city to find safety, due to his great skill in many areas of survival. He readily accepted, because of course he thought he should naturally be included in such an "elite team", and never stopped to consider the difficulty of the journey, believing it would be easy for him just like his life up to this point had been.

It's his first time spending so much time having to cooperate with other dogs who won't leap to his beck and call... ☆

his name meaning little ghost in inuit, tonraq was born
as a domestic dog, a rescue alaskan malamute, that
was sold to an old woman a while ago. unfortunately,
she died not soon after. the shelter tried to reclaim
him once more, but he escaped thankfully and ended
up in this group. he received the broken tail when
one of the group members snapped on him, he
assumed he was being pesky. many of them get
annoyed by his niceness all the time, but her persists
in being a sweet boy.

personally wise, the brute is as harmless as a fly. he's
best at talking his way out of conversations over fighting
his way out. fight or flight? the first two words don't
even exist to him. flight, flight flight. his whole life all
he's known is flight. he's very caring and loving, acting as
almost the father role of the group. no one knows about
tonraq's history before he was rescued, and he plans on
keeping it that way. sometimes, tonraq's dark side will
emerge. i hope you're not one to see it.
