Those delicate ears pin a moment and then he smiles somewhat distantly. Soldier finally speaks. "That is quite understandable, you are an Alpha and pack comes before the individual." How could he hope to break through the defenses? Blue eyes squeeze shut - he would have to make a point to avoid her. Right? No. He hurts just thinking about it.

Nebbia let out a soft sigh. It was true she only ever put the pack before herself. Though while putting the pack first was most certainly not something to look down upon in an alpha, never considering or paying attention to ones own needs or even happiness was, and is something Nebbia knew she was guilty of. She had admitted it aloud not too long ago to the very male she was standing before now, "It's not that I don't want one, I would, I just... I don't know?" Never before had the fae's heart drummed against her chest as hard as it was the moment the topic had started, causing heat to flush the skin beneath her pelt bright red. However, the way his eyes squeezed shut caused her pounding heart to ach uncomfortably inside. Was he upset? Had she said something wrong?

Nebbia's eyes widened at the action fur standing on end in surprise at the sudden contact, her heart still racing. However, it didn't take long for her to relax against him closing her own eyes.

Ears pin forward, sapphire orbs widening to the size of a full moon. Those weren't words she was expecting to hear, though she'd be lying if she said she wasn't glad to hear them. Nebbia smiled softly at Soldier. Snow beginning to setting in her fur as the wind began to blow more fiercely though the small fae hardly seem to mind. "You don't have to move so far back," her smile seeming to widen, "I...I love you too."

His head jerks upwards at her words, hed been expecting a rebuke. And suddenly that scarred male is at her side, licking her cheek in a way that seems to solidify his words. His dark pelt rustles. "Then marry me Nebbia," Soldier whispers in his harsh voice. He had been raised as anything but a wolf, and asks the only way he knows how. "Marry me, know that my heart and hearth are yours all my days. Marry me and make me the happiest wolf since Aniu and Kor created thus world and our ancestors first walked it. " his smile grows, "Marry me?" The mercinary pleas.

Her sapphire eyes gleamed brilliantly as if they were truly gems themselves. Despite not having grown up knowing not hearing the strange word it was easy to tell what Soldier was asking her. Smiling softly Nebbi nuzzled her nose against his briefly before licking his cheek in response her snow dampened tail wagging happily, "Of course."

He can't believe it. She's said yes! Soldier grins toothilly and stands proudly, he touches his nose to hers. "I love you. " he rumbles, noting her damp fur. "And I believe that we should get back, you are sopping wet! " his own blue eyes are pale with joy. He cannot help but brush against his new mate, and inhale. She was his. He was hers. No-matter.
