Tamilia glanced back when she heard purring and smiled, spotting Toppy rubbing his head against Soul's scratching fingers. As the boy began to approach, however, she flew into a panic; her cheeks were as pink as if she was in the middle of a blizzard. In an attempt to mask this, she shook her head, tousling her hair until a part of it hung over her face. When Soul matched her pace and walked alongside her, she smiled sheepishly, trying to see through the veil of her hair. If there was one thing she loved - a lot, actually - it was imagining how things worked and why. "Well...perhaps there's some sort of mirror contraption inside," Tamilia mused, carefully picking her way over a decaying log. "And, perhaps, they catch the moonlight. And they illuminate the mushroom. Or maybe they're full of fireflies." She grinned to Soul, then tilted her head, spotting Toppy on his shoulder. A slight laugh escaped her lips, and she looked ahead, hiding her growing red blush from the boy who was, once more, travelling in her wake. "Did Toppy talk you into this chatter?" Tamilia said quietly, a slight tone of nervousness and embarrassment in her voice. She glanced back for a moment, but felt her cheeks heat up, and turned ahead; just in time to watch herself stumble over a tree branch. With a thud, she landed in the dirt, rolling down a small embankment before managing to compose herself. "Curse this hair, and this odd, stupid feeling," Tamilia hissed, pulling sticks from her hair, ignoring what she'd just blurted out.
