⇞ ⇟ Jaggedclaw looked to see Mottlepaw was next to him. "Hey there, Mottlepaw!" He mewed to him with a smile and dipped his head. He touched the apprentice's flank softly with his tail. "Be sure to watch out for any smaller twigs around here, I am not sure if i picked all of them up yet and I wouldn't want your paw to get hurt stepping on something." He said cautiously with a smile. He licked his paw that got stabbed a few more times. He stretched out his front legs and let out a quiet yawn as the sun started to beam down against his pitch black pelt. ⇞ ⇟

Ratwhisker

Ratwhisker entered camp, shaking the dirt out of her pelt. The dark colored she-cat quickly made her way to the fresh kill pile and dropped the two shrews she was carrying. After her mouth was free, she gave a large yawn and began to groom herself- She got more dirty than she intended.

Mottlepaw nodded " o-oh , ok" he squinted his eyes as rays of sun struck down onto his pelt, he was blind of one eye, and the other was rather sensitive to sunlight. ..he hated it.

Raingaze & Fallowwing
The dark silver-furred tom crouched at an edge of the clearing with his sister, Fallowwing. When they weren't chewing on the wings of the sparrow they were sharing, they would speak a few words to each other, occasionally chuckling at what the other one had said.

Duskpaw
Sitting outside of the apprentice den, Duskpaw dragged his icy blue gaze across the clearing in search of something to do. He sighed, bending his head to lap at a few tufts of thick, pitch black fur that were sticking up.

Cricketpaw
The light brown tabby she-cat pushed through the entrance, a vole and a mouse dangling from her jaws. Cricketpaw happily placed them onto the freshkill pile before padding to a shady corner of camp. She flopped onto her side and began to groom her pelt from the debris she had accidentally picked up while she was out hunting.

As WildPaw paced around the camp in an attempt to stop the boredom she noticed a slight growl. She looked around confused. A couple seconds later something growled again and she pinpointed the cause, apparently she was hungry. "I guess in thinking about how bored I was I forgot I hadn't eaten much today" She said to herself. She padded over towards the prey pile and grabbed a freshly caught mouse. It smelled slightly like OwlEyes so she guessed he must of either caught it or just carried it back into camp. Guessing that the mouse seemed to be losing the last bit of warmth left in the body she guessed that it was rather fresh. That was good luck for her, but if the old prey wasn't eaten quick enough it'd become crowfood. She once accidentally grabbed a piece of crowfood around the time she became an apprentice for lunch, boy did she regret eating that. She was sick the whole day! It taught her to check the scent of her food candidates before eating one. No one wanted to eat crowfood, at least no one she knew of. She finally took her first bite of the freshly caught mouse and looked around the camp. After she ate she might have the same problem she had as before, oh well. She could deal with that later, she'd rather focus on the mouse right now than thinking about the future. OwlEyes worried too much about the future. She lived in the moment, and she liked living that way.

OwlEyes relaxed in a patch of sunlight. He had no idea of what he could do considering he had just come back into camp from a hunt. Having a moment of peace was always nice but he'd soon try to find something to do. Whether it was chat or help with some of the wreckage. He wasn't a fan of doing nothing, he had to get stuff done. He had that mindset ever since his apprenticeship. He was rather small for his age and still is so he constantly tried to work to be just as useful as cats more powerful and quick as himself. He was a mentor now after all so his decisions reflected on how his apprentice might turn out. Mistakes were something he refused to accept. He knew others could make mistakes but he was a perfectionist at times and wanted to be perfect. He knew he never would be but he would try. He then returned his attention back to the sunlight which warmed him rather than cooling him like the shade of a tree. "A nice chat would really be great right about now." He mumbled to himself. He noticed RatWhisker and decided to walk over to see what she was doing. After he stood a couple of feet away he called out to her."Hey RatWhisker, how are you doing!" He said with a swish of his tail.

Ratwhisker jolted when she heard the other warrior call her name. She looked over and relaxed when she saw it was just Owleyes, and he didn't seem to be upset with her. "I'm...doing fine." She answered, shyly giving her paw a few licks. "What about you?" She questioned, looking back up at him and blinking.

OwlEyes looked up towards the sky. "Well i'm okay, I got back from hunting not too long ago. So i decided to take a small break and sunbathe, and now i'm talking with you." He said. He noticed the couple of clouds in the sky, but then he turned his attention back down considering the rudeness of not paying attention to the cat your talking to. He noticed an itch in his ear and pawed it a couple times until the itch left. He really wish he had more to say about his day but he was a cat who enjoyed few words for his responses. He didn't want to be silent too long and for this conversation to be too awkward so he tried to think of a question off the top of his head. "So, uh, yeah the weathers pretty nice right? Compared to the storm. Hah...that storm was pretty bad" He blurted out. He didn't think before saying something and look where that got him, feeling stupid. He still wondered how he ever got chosen to be a mentor with his jittery behavior. Constantly paranoid, constantly looking behind his back.

Mottlepaw padded away from the warrior, he tilted his head slightly as he saw wildpaw, he padded up to her " hello wildpaw"

The she-cat flattened her ears, remembering the awful storm that shook the clan to it's core. Many lost family and friends that day. "Yeah, the weather is pretty nice." She replied, gazing up at the sky and letting her eyes follow the drifting clouds. She wasn't a big fan of conversation, and hoped she wasn't coming off as rude. Owleyes was just trying to be friendly, after all. She kneaded her paws, nervous. He seemed uneasy, was this her fault? "So, got any plans for later?" She meowed suddenly, trying to break the silence yet again.

WildPaw had just finished the mouse she was eating and stood up. "Hi MottlePaw!" She said happily. Her tail wagged once in excitement. "How has your day been going! Mines been going great, i saw a bird, and i also caught a butterfly today! It was really fun" She said happily. She would of kept talking but cats hardly eve approached her. She used to always initiate conversations so this was rather special to her. Most cats tended to stay away from her, especially her brother. Well he didn't exactly stay away but he tried to keep his distance. He got annoyed really easily by her constant chatter. She didn't mind though, he never seemed to be far from her. "So has your day been going okay?" She said simply. It was hard to not continue to chatter but she didn't want to annoy MottlePaw into leaving.
