Foxfang let go of her shoulders and settled back down, licking the ginger kit on the head softly before pulling back, a deep sob rumbling in his throat. "It's a wonderful name... Our little Brackenkit..." His words faltered and he looked down at the ground, pressing closely against Ryemouse as the calico and tabby she-kit mewed softly and pawed at her sister.

Ryemouse pressed against Foxfang, burying her muzzle in his shoulder. "Brackenkit." She whispered, mostly to herself. The silver spotted kit squeaked, pushing the calico and tabby she-kit away with one of her paws before kneading at Ryemouse's belly.

Aquafeather smiled after Ryemouse hasd given birth to her's and Foxfang's kits. Turning her head to lick Sunsetkit, Aquafeather suddenly looked towards the othe green when she hissed at Stoatfur. It took the silver queen a minute before realizing what was going on. They had lost a kit. Aquafeather felt Ryemouse's pain, greatly knowing what it was like to lose a newborn kit. Not many cats knew about her other kit, Spottedkit. Just Fallenstar, Frostclaw, and Tawnyshadow. Watching the two new parents and the medicine cat, there was sympathy showing in Aquafeather's eyes for them as the silver queen thought about the day she had given birth.

Foxfang nodded his head softly, looking back at Stoatfur. "Y-Yes... Of course..." He turned away from Brackenkit and licked the two other kits heads, an almost dead look in his eyes. "Don't worry... I'll protect the two of you... And nothing bad will happen to either of you..." Foxfang whispered quietly to the two she-kits, cloaking his eyes and laying his nose inbetween them. The orange, black, and tabby kitten cuddled against her Fathers nose, before licking her sisters cheek and mewing again, lifting her head up.

Ryemouse rose her head, watching as Stoatfur picked Brackenkit up gingerly by his scruff. She leaned forward, touching her nose into Brackenkit's side, breathing in his scent. The pale queen looked up at her brother and nodded sadly before leaning down to lick the top of the orange, black and tabby she-kit. The silver spotted she-kit wriggled around, resting her tiny paws against Foxfang's muzzle.

"We have to name them too."

Stoatfur picked Brackenkit up carefully by his scruff, pausing there for a moment to let Ryemouse quietly say her goodbyes. He blinked at her sympathetically once she looked at him. The dark tabby turned to Foxfang, waiting to see if he wanted to say goodbye to his only son before he finally took him away.
