The driving thing is so stupid and broken. Is there a way to complain to Niantic about it, or are they aware?

I literally get the pop ups NO MATTER WHAT I AM DOING.

Last night I was LITERALLY SITTING ON THE TOILET and it popped up telling me to slow down

Its the stupidest feature. If you want to play while driving its not going to stop you. All you have to do is keep hitting that you're a passenger every 10 seconds.

They have it there so that they avoid any liability for when some idiot crashes their car and tries to sue Niantic. I haven't had the problem of it popping up when it shouldn't be. Have you tried using the toilet slower? P:

yay I caught a 695 arcanine so now I don't need to find a bagillion more growlithes
I also eveolved my 10k egg and got an eevee. but, I used those candies to get a 899 Jolteon which I am very happy about c:

i missed a rapidash and pikachu though, we were in the car....

Well. I'm bummed.

I hatched a 2k today hoping for a Pikachu, or a Squirtle (The two starters I am missing) but guess what I get?

A WEEDLE. THE ONE POKEMON THAT IA M ALWAYS COMPLAINING ABOUT BECAUSE I ALREADY HAVE A BEEDRIL THAT I EVOLVED MYSELF and I STILL have enough candies to get another BECAUSE ALL. I. EVER. GET. AT. MY. HOUSE. ARE. WEEDLES!!!!!! I mean, just look at this post I made yesterday!!!:

I'm excited for Gen 2 as well, I just hope it isn't coming too soon. I'm no where near close to completing my Pokedex, due to where I live giving me nothing but weedles (I swear I have enough candy to get like 5 beedrils) and I just today encountered a Krabby for the first time. I'd like to get a bit closer to completing this Pokedex before more Pokemon get added.[/color]

IT WAS ONLY 82 CP.

I also hatched a different 2k, got a Male Nidoran. ;-;

I hope Niantic changes the randomness of certain Pokemon evolving. The biggest example being eevee, when they add umbreon and espeon are they going to add nicknames for them to evolve too? And after its going to be more of a challenge getting extras of the Pokemon you want. And then leafeon, glaceon and sylveon eventually, after the nicknames trick if they get one it will be like Russian roulette getting duplicates of the one you want.

Do you think there should still be control in what Pokemon evolves into what?
Like I have a 550 cp eevee that I wish I could turn into another jolteon and if it doesn't it's gonna be a waste since water types are common locally so it would kill the flareon, and vaporeon isn't as good as before.

So I haven't played the game in about a week so when I come backI see there's been a few updates? Can someone fill me up on what they changed?



Not a whole lot is different.

A new tracking system is being beta tested by a subset of players, mostly in San Francisco it would seem. Meanwhile everyone else only gets an updated look of the old "Nearby" list. It is now called "Sightings" and an image of grass is behind the Pokemon. This means that it is somewhere in the wild and you will have to walk around to find it. The good news is that the "Sightings" list now updates. When you walk out of searching range of a Pokemon on the list or when it despawns, it will now vanish from the list instead of ghosting, so you know that you're not on a wild goose chase hunting down a Pikachu that isn't there anymore.

There is a bug where the escape rates of Pokemon has increased, and Niantic has stated that they are aware and are working on it. It has not yet been fixed.

Many users are currently experiencing a decrease in 10k eggs received from Pokestops. I don't know what that's all about.

Ban waves are happening. There is a Ban Appeal page on the Pokemon Go website and all users who have been using bots are being banned en masse.

The game tracks your speed and will ask you to confirm you are a passenger if you are going above a certain speed limit.

Eevee is the only Pokemon that has randomness involved in what it evolves into, but I get your point. I think that users should have total control over what their Eevee becomes. In the original games you got to choose which evolution stone to give it, in the anime it was the same. There was never any "oh I wonder what my Eevee will become" in the canon. On top of that, I think it's ridiculous that Vaporeon gets to be so much stronger than Flareon and Jolteon. In my opinion, they should have the same strength. Everybody only wants Vaporeons, and the other two aren't getting any love. It's sad to see.

I'm glad to say that today I finished my Eevee collection, though. The last one I needed was Flareon, and she's actually one of my top 6 Pokemon now!

So I have finally be able to go out and try the new tracking system, so far I'm liking it. I didn't get anything new, and really not many pokemon popped out, but it works. What I'm a little miffed about is two of my eggs where reset. I'm incubating 2 5km eggs and when I looked this morning they where at 3/5km. They are now at 1.8/km. Oh well, more walking for me I guess. I'm hoping I get something new and good in these eggs.

So I found a like a 152 CP Machoke in the wild a while ago, and I just hatched a 500ish CP Machop. Since I had 49 candies I was going to just transfer the Machoke and evolve Machop.

It's that sad moment when you accidentally transfer the Machop. RIP Machop.
