You might not be able to, but you can still try." She murmured. She was going to wait. Either until she was killed, or she faded. Whatever it took for her to be with Bagel again. But now she had to let him go be free. In Starclan. At least he was safe. Away from the Dark forest. Away from her. "Bagel. Promise me you'll try. I..." She looked away.

He knew nothing of this place, 'StarClan', Coconut called it, but he did know Coconut needed help. Bagel was filled with determination.

Redshade smiled. "Thanks, Honeytail." They were nearing the border between StarClan and the Dark Forest. "And you're right. This is a major breakthrough. I bet he'll be so happy to hear the news, he won't even fight me- er, us -at all!" He heard voices up ahead.
This is it, he thought. I'm bringing news to my leader, and I don't know what his reaction will be. This now officially a life and death situation. All of Honeytail's optimism that had seeped into his brain was swept away by a wave of fear. He didn't care if he was over-reacting.

Deadheart scented two toms coming, and he decided to take the chance and leave these confused kittypets. He rolled his eyes. "I'll leave you two kittypets be. But remember 'Gingermint', we will finish this, and I will kill you." He saw Bagel's eyes widen in fear, and he snorted. Turning away, he headed for the scent of the two cats. Deadheart swished casually around a bush, and confronted the two cats. "Why have you strayed close to the StarClan border?" He demanded. The black tom was taking no chances, not after listening to Gingermint give away valuable information.

Tigerpaw stands up and walks over to his den, dragging his paws he collaspes into his nest, sleep overtaking him as soon as he closes his eyes. He wakes up in a field of flowers and starts to run around chasing mice.

Honeytail gently nudged Redshade with his muzzle, encouraging him again. His pelt prickled when he heard Deadheart speak but he forced his fur to lie flat. "We come to speak with you Deadheart," he announced, dipping his head as they came closer. "Redshade has important information about the Fog."

Redshade blinked, unfreezing from his state of fear. "I went to the Fog." He meowed. Deadheart lifted his head. "Go on." Redshade took a deep breath, and continued speaking. "When you first go in, your pelt feels tingly..." Once Redshade finished telling his tale of the Fog, he looked at his leader. Deadheart had an evil smile on his face. "Well..!"

Deadheart looked between Redshade and Honeytail. "This is very interesting news. Is it possible for others to enter?" Redshade nodded. "I assume so." Deadheart licked his lips in anticipation. "That is wonderful. I must go now." He considered going back to confront Gingermint, but he couldn't get himself to get the will to. The she-cat had too much spunk, too much potential, which he would kill if he fought her. So he turned to go to the Whisper Pool. "Be sure to stay away from the border with StarClan. I saw some of those star-crazed fools lingering. We don't want to 'upset' them." He started to leave. "Just stay away from the border." Deadheart disappeared behind a tree.

"Mottlestorm, Eagleeye, Aspenclaw and Beetlewhisker! As we have no elders, you four, some of the oldest cats in the clan, have to take Sunstar to her final resting place. Hazelcloud and I will accompany you where she'll give Sunstar the blessings every medicine cat gives a clanmate that has joined Starclan. Then we will travel to the Moonpool where I'll recieve my nine lives and become the leader of Pineclan. While we're gone, Eagleeye is in charge," he said loudly, hoping all of his clan heard him.

Foxpaw stared at Sunstar's body, remembering his time as her apprentice. Not long ago, she had saved his life. Now she was gone. It just didn't seem right.

She silently offered comfort to her brother, who stood off to the side of the clearing with a distraught expression on his face. Of course, she too had been somewhat close to Sunstar. Not much, but the leader had been her brother's mentor so she talked with her regularly. But her sadness didn't compare to the cat who was the leader's apprentice.

"Think he survived?" she asked the two cats with her.

She scoffed and glared at Birdfeather. "I would assume so. Any information about the Fog is important. Redshade, being the first known cat to go there, has the most experience with it and will more than likely lead us through it even if he was there for only a small bit of time." Perhaps Deadheart would get lost inside. Sure, she liked the tom, maybe a bit more than just respect, but she liked the taste of power that being leader gave.

As Deadheart walked off, Honeytail let out a breath he didn't realize he'd been holding and finally allowed his claws to slide out. He felt... shaken. Uneasy. "I wonder why he wants us to keep from the border so much," he murmured, more to himself than anything. He flicked his ears towards Redshade. "Well, regardless, that was surprisingly easy. Did he seem a little distracted to you?"
