Before I start I want to say that Cole and Juliette spent $1,000 for the Makoatl species. They can, and should be able to make however many customs with whatever edits that they so desire without getting slack from the community.

That being said I realize that since the move there has been a lot less, okay almost NO, free adopts – And that is going to change, However that isn’t my issue right now.

My issue is that people in the community, and no I am not calling anyone out on this, continually talk about needing MORE free things – items, adoptables, etc. Many of us have heard that, and I know for a FACT that I myself am attempting to help get out MORE free things! However when we do make a free adoptable, when I put up the monthly prompts, NO ONE ENTERS – Or if someone does its maybe three or four people if the artist / I’m lucky (A big thank you to everyone who enters the contests and Prompts.). You guys ask for these things, and then do not enter and yet continue to complain. I realize that the prompts / drawing for Sand Dollars isn’t necessarily free because you do have to put work towards it, but guys… It is a chance at a free thing, or free things. Sometimes you do need to put forth effort to get things.

What I am trying to say is your complaints ARE being heard, and we are trying to do more free things for you, more events with free prizes, but this takes two to tango. I’m not saying you must try out for every free thing, that you HAVE to enter the monthly prompt, but what I am saying is do not complain about wanting free things if you are not going to enter. This is a business, and while we want to make it fun and fair for everyone, it is STILL a business.

For the future we are looking at hiring more Breeding artists for the free breedings for the community - but this process will take time.

We are going to put more effort to free adoptables as well, and with a greater effort for edited ones, and I will continue to run the Monthly Prompt with prizes (Worth upwards to $100+ at times. MYOs, Legendary Stickers, No-Strings, ETC)

Just please, if you aren’t going to enter, if you expect free things just handed to you, do not complain.

If you do have legit comments or concerns you may, of course, post here or PM me privately. We are here to Listen to the community to make things better for everyone! We aren't going to trash your suggestion, and while not all suggestions will be able to be implemented, we will listen and make changes where we can / where we think they are needed from the suggestion or comment, or explain why something cannot be done!

We are in search of a couple of Breeding Artists! – And when I say a couple I mean 3 (Three)!!

There are some things you need to know before putting in an application:
- All of the breedings you will be doing are going to be free.
- You will get 10 Sand Dollars every 2 weeks as payment – More perks MAY come later
- You must do at least two breedings a month, though more is encouraged!

New makos!


Recently I helped Nanu with some fund issues she was having and got this amazing custom in return. She is based on a shiny suicune and I cannot deal with how gorgeous she turned out.


I also helped (and spoiled) Wolfy recently and got a semi custom based on Heathens by TOP. I've got some plans for this dude, and he came with this stunning piece of art:



I helped Lamby get moar core on DA and in turn got a semi custom based off of Hymn for the Weekend by Coldplay, the Seeb remix. I gotta say, I think she will be like Alesana's alt ego.


A while back I got a no-strings breeding from 2InfinityAnd-Beyond between Serenity and Alduin, and I gotta say, I loved the results. I gifted their second child to Ardra, and kept this darling for myself<3 Even Nanu herself loved the pairing:3 (She made both parents cx)

I, myself, have a few new babs to introduce!
First off, I don't know if I've shown him off already, so I'll show him off again.

This is PEACEMAKER, and he doesn't suit his name as well as he should.
When he was built, PEACEMAKER was created to be a weapon of the army. One to end wars, and bring triumph to the Americans. However, when the opposing side hit a nerve in the part of him that was human, he turned against his creators and the people he was originally meant to fight. With this aggressivity in hand, the American government had no choice but to capture him. Now, PEACEMAKER, also known as PM9, lives his days away in a maximum-security facility that is all but trying to get him back on their side once more.

My second bab- definitely one of my favourite makos- is the child of Lucifer and (PenumbraWolfy's) Rose.

Daughter of two makos who were never together, this lady doesn't play around. I have yet to figure her name out, but she's some sort of a mercenary that, rather than killing for money, kills for money as well as the payer's soul. Little do they know,that will end up costing them most of their life. After unnamed has finished the job, her boss will get five more years of life before going to her father's realm forever. Lambyrt did an amazing job on her so I drew a lil thing of her!!

Hello everyone! I've been part of Makoatls for quite some time now, I just don't post nearly as much as I'd like to ;u;
So in case you don't know me, my name is grapejuice, and my first ever Mako was this cutie created by Sixbane! His name is Rowan, and he's my party-boy, who prefers to "chill" rather than do anything productive with his life. He's a go-with-the-flow type of guy, and when he's not partying, he's catching some gnarly waves or shredding the half-pipe at the skate park. Pretty much he's an overgrown child, but I adore him<3

This is gonna be a pretty lengthy post [fair warning] as since I was last here, I've managed to obtain 5 more Makos, all of whom I'm really excited to introduce to you all!


First up is Nathaniel, who I got from EverFaith13 some time ago. He's a pharmacist, who's been working in the pharmaceutical department for about two years now. He is incredibly intelligent, which makes him come off as rather condescending. Nathan often boasts to his old college buddies about how successful he is in life, and appears to be a narcissist due to this. Despite his success in life, however, he's realized he's in a perpetual state of loneliness and exhaustion, and at this rate, is unsure if he may ever find a partner to settle down with. He and Rowan were actually dorm-mates at one point in college, but due to Rowan's obnoxious behavior, the two don't get along very well, and Nathan isn't all that surprised to see the male hasn't changed.

Next is Tako, who [like the next few I'll be introducing] I recently purchased from FreeShade. Tako is an up-and-coming fashion designer, who currently works out of her studio apartment located on the outskirts of Los Angeles. She hopes to one day make it big and be able to live in NYC, and work alongside some of the top fashion designers in the world, but until then, she's working on completing Etsy orders and doing what she can to get by. Tako also runs a rather popular tumblr page and instagram account, where she previews and advertises all of her designs, and also blogs about her life as a hopeful fashionista. Since opening these accounts, her interest has gone up quite a bit, and she's received a few inquiries from companies in need of fresh new ideas. With her busy lifestyle, she's hoping to meet someone along the way who, maybe is a bit more settled then she is.

Meet Amber [currently looking for a new name], currently a full-time college student going into her second year of nursing school, she aspires to one day work as an ER nurse. This girl is balancing quite the workload, between school, her paid internship at the local hospital, and trying to fit in everything else where she can. She's in a perpetual state of exhaustion, but nothing can stop this girl from achieving her dreams. Amber is a go-getter, and is honestly too stubborn to see that she's running herself ragged. If she's looking for anything, it might be a few friends, or even some potential roommates! After all, rent can get a bit pricey when you're on your own.

This boy is currently unnamed, but he is a world-renowned art collector, who thrives on collecting valuable pieces and building the most incredible collection known to mankind. He hopes to one day obtain the priceless work Starry Night, by Vincent Van Gogh, but of course that's almost preposterous. One can certainly dream, though! Despite his main pursuit in becoming the owner of one of the finest collections known to man, he went to school to become an art appraiser, and can easily spot the differences between an original piece and a fake. This is his main source of income, aside from occasionally auctioning off a piece or two that he may no longer find fitting for his collection.

This boy is the twin brother to the above one, and is also unnamed as of the current moment. However, he is a video game designer and beta tester. [unlike his brother, he has artistic talent] He mainly does the graphic designs and while he understands basic code formats, he doesn't consider himself very good at it. However, he loves creating fantasy worlds, so designing is super fun for him. It's even better when he gets to test out his own little projects and see them come to life on the screen! While he and his team have only released a few Indie games on Steam, which haven't gained a ton of reviews or plays, they're currently working on a massive RPG fantasy game, in which the player must find the source of a darkness that has consumed the world, and defeat it in the name of glory! But along the way, the player will be tempted by side quests, and even offers to fight for the dark side as they become stronger and more well-known. He's finished almost a majority of the realm's basic design, but this project will likely be taking up a majority of his time! If anyone's willing to talk nerd with him, he'll probably love you.
