Mai flicked her tail and smiled in thanks. She turned and smooshed herself to Aastra, wanting to defend her when Lythius started to lecture her.

Lythius sighed and sat down in front of Aastra. "I know you're not going to be a little pup forever, but you are now. When you grow up, we'll go and tear apart all the Raiders we can find, but for now, you must stay here. Promise?" He said, leaning down and staring into Aastras eyes.

Aastra sighd " promiss but you better keep you par of the bargen" she looked at him she new Lythius was blind but some times it felt as if he could see

Lythius smiled and licked her forhead. "Good girl." He said, standind and spinning around. "Alright, everyone, we'll track them in the morning, nice and early. Coyotes, you can stay here for the night in that den over there." Lythius began, sounding like a drill sergant. He pointed over at a den with his nose. "It has enough room to fit you both, and it'll stay warm. Go, now. Come on." He said, motioning towards the den. "Everyone else back to yuor dens, Aastra, you're with me. Good night, everyone. See you in the morning." He said, heading towards his den. He entered his den and curcled up in the corner, waiting for Aastra.


Mai obeyed Lythius and went to the den he'd given her. She curled up, wrapping her fluffy tail around her small body. She smiled at Richiet and closed her eyes. "Nighty, night, Richiet." She murmered, falling asleep.

Aastra followed Lythius into the den she curld up close to him to shair the wamth that was the problem with being a orphan you normaly sleept on your own

Lythius felt Aastra cuddle up to him and smiled. He dropped his head, laying it beside hers, then closed his eyes, falling asleep.

Aastra woke up Lythius was still asleep she had to admit it was almost dawn she trotted out of her den her shoulder felt much better. she raced to the bottem of the warter fall were the mist was she cleand her graish whiteish fur and began splashing and playing in the warter she ternd around to face the warter fall there stood a big black wolf he snaled baring his masive teeth " iam gessing you want to hert me" she said standing frozen she snaled wait till i tell my pack who you are Aastra said relising the sent your the wolf raider that said he wants to attack my pack well i have news for you buddie" Aastra said in a snarl she rased her head and hould as loud as she could hoping some one would here as the black wolf creeped closer

Lythius sat up, hearing Aastra howl. "No, no, no, no!" He screamed, not being able to feel her around him. He leapt forward, racing out of his den and disappearing into the trees. He followed the sound of her howl, going as fast as he could. "Aastra!" He screamed at the top of his lungs. He bounded over a bush and skidded to a stop, smelling a new wolf and Aastra near the water. He lowered himself down, seeing as the black wolf hadn't snarled at him yet. He flung a desperate look at Aastra, although he was blind, he knew where she was and that she'd stay quiet. He crept towards the wolf, teeth bared, fur bristling.

Aastra was scared but she had noticed Lythius she stood up to her proper hight and began to snarl she felt a serge of energy that she had never felt before she dashed at the black wolf pouncing apon it sinking her teeth into it she was to far from the neck to kill him just on the shoulder blade the blackwolf nocked her off its shoulder Aastra said one word and one word onliy " RAIDER" Aastra calmed down she Yelled " iam going to go get help" with that she ran of not reliseing the black wolf was following her Aastra looked strated ahed 2 foggie shapes of wolves apperd "his behind you' they wisperd Aastra ran strat through them it made her fell cold she ran in to camp waking every one she could find

Lythius ran after the wolf, following its scent, along with Aastras. He noticed the wolfs scent veered to his left and Aastras went straight ahead. He ran through the trees, suddenly at camp. :Aastra, where are you?" He said, scenting the air for her.

Mai was already up, but she hadn't even left camp when she found Aastra. "Aastra! Oh thank goodness you're okay! I thought you were getting mauled by a bear with that piercing howl, darling! What happened?" She rambled, looking Aastra over and checking her snake wound. She looked up, seeing Lythius a while away, trying to sniff them out. "Lythius, over here!" She called, seeing him turn and run at them immediatly.
